Good sounding and cheap. Would recommend it to others

My husband loved it. He got it for himself. He was very excited and said this brand makes some of the best products. I can't go much in detail because I don't use the radio. But I will take his word for it that he really liked it.

I thought it was going to be a great product until I got it professionally installed. I'll be listening to music and then out of nowhere it will turn off at least 4 times a week as if it has a glitch.

Superb Alpine quality at a great price! I love the fact that it plays cd's and memory sticks.

It's so nice I'm getting another one for my other car and I'm having it installed by the Geek Squad. They really did a great job!

Needed something to replace the factory radio that was stolen in my car. This did the job quite well. Quite.... Well....

This unit is not what I Expected it to be. Not like other Alpine unit Ibought before. Does Not have modern features.

This unit is fair. It is a bit clumsy in its operation, but for the price it is adequate.

My 9 year old Kenwood KDC-X889 recently died. That Kenwood was then and even now considered a very fine Hu with its 24 bit burr brown DAC. I didn't think I'd find anything under $500 that would touch that kenwood's SQ but I needed a quick fix and something to get me by while I researched a replacement Hu. I knew I wanted bluetooth, phone use features and at least (3# 4 volt preouts. This Alpine had all that so i figured for $189 I would give it a go. if anything I figured this would get me buy for 6 months while I got ready to buy a top end deck for my system. Fast forward to powering it up after installation #which was very simple by the way# and out of the box with no tweaking this little Hu sounded amazing. I kept looking at the box and price tag and thinking..."No..." But yes..after 9 years I guess stereos have come a long way. This unit performs so well that I've decided to not sell it and buy a $500+ unit. It offers a neutral sound with slight adjusting and works just so very well. The 4v preouts sound clean. Bluetooth works without a hitch, using my Nokia Lumia 1020. Pandora streams across, the unit provides details on artist, what more could I want? Well the phone features works great as well. It immediately downloaded my contacts list and making, receiving calls is just too easy. Call quality is top notch and people claim that my voice coming through Alpines small mic sounds so good that they think I'm using my phone and not using the Alpine to talk. Kudos! All in all this is a very low cost deck that offers big features. 4v lines, the ability to turn of the internal amp, loads of eq settings, bluetooth, phone, USB, 3.5mm input , the list goes on. best $205 #after tax# that I've spent in a long time. Would love a remote but let’s face it...I don't really need one.

My system had upgraded Boston acoustic package from dealer with stock amp... Once I connected the unit, my stock amp and upgraded speakers sound 100% better than before.... Only bad part is I had to buy a harness for 100.00 to make unit work with factory amp... Oh yeah, did the instal myself and it turned out great...

This Alpine receiver is awesome. I returned a Sony receiver that stopped working after 2 weeks for this amazing Alpine receiver and I am so glad I chose it. The screen is bright and can easily be read in sunlight. The functionality of the receiver is top notch. I would definitely recommend!

Works with wife's IPhone, blue tooth with my windows phone, and works with my Stratus siris-xm unit,works making and receiving calls, but cannot get time to display. That is the only issue.Maybe its me, but there are no instructions to default to clock when listening to music on any mode.

Great sound. Excellent quality for the $94 clearance price. Love being able to connect my phone, which is where most of my music is now. I always buy Alpine bc they have excellent products. My old Alpine is still working great, I just wanted to get the new features.

Very nice but no option to change illumination color so back to the store for the CDE154BT
