I bought this to replace an identical unit, where the light had gone out, and couldn't be fixed with a bulb. cheaper to replace than fix.I took the opportunity while I was installing an external vent, and did not want to have to reinstall the brackets and such again. If I wasn't perfectly happy with the unit I could have gotten something else. It works well, is quiet, and matches the black and stainless appliances I have without being flashy.

So far has worked perfectly for the 2 months I have owned it. Love the fact that it has no labels on it so it matches all my other appliances. Read comments by others that complained it only had a 30 sec button and not a 1 min but I just push the 30 sec twice. Very inexpensive option for over the range

Very easy to operate. Our old microwave had all the bells & whistles, which we don't have on this one and we sure don't miss them.

We were looking for a new stainless steel microwave to match our new stainless steel stove and found this microwave. It works great and matches wonderfully with the new stove. Love the features with the venting fan and light.

I bought this for a rental--good price and had all the features I needed. Instructions were standard for this type. Bracket template for wall and upper cabinet floor holes were as expected and were accurate. All in all a good MW.

Good, solidly-built microwave. Heats food evenly. Pleased with its operation and functionality. Recommend this microwave.

Contemporary look. I was searching for handle-free model, so here is the one. So far, the only inconvenience I noticed is that if you need 1 minute warming-up, you have to push 1+0+0+ Start. My previous model in the same situation started right after you dial 1.

Bought this Amana to replace a Whirlpool and since they own Amana everything matched (holes and back bracket). This might not be the case with all models, but in this case it was a 5 minute install.

Had it for 18 months now. Operates fine, but the door has malfunctioned twice. The first time, within the one year warranty period, and it was fixed. Now, just 5 months after it was "fixed", same problem. Door closes but unit doesn't think it's closed, so it won't turn on. Keeps saying "Door", as if it thinks you didn't close the door. Tech person told us it was common with this model. But now, Amana will no longer fix it. So warning, if you buy it, get the extended warranty. But we are going to just go buy a new one, different brand.
