Amazon Echo Plus is an amazing performer. My primary use is to play music on demand. The best combination is a set of 3 devices: 2) Echo Plus and 1) Echo Sub. This combination produces the perfect balance of high frequencies, accurate midrange and excellent bass. Add this combination of 3 devices in each of your favorite rooms and direct Alexa to “Play ... (song) on the Everywhere Group!”... since bass is non directional, it adds for each subwoofer in your house. The sound quality throughout your house is truly amazing and gets better with every new group of 3 devices you add!!

I use Alexa every night for rain and thunder sounds. It sounds great. The bass is good

I have the original Echo (the one that required an invite), and was completely blown away by the incremental improvement in sound. Bass is actually present, and when placed correctly the sound almost feels "stereo". The built thermometer and smart home hub are a nice add-on, and allow me to create routines that I couldn't previously do such as turning off a manual window fan with the temperature hits 60 degrees inside. I purchased a 2nd Echo Plus to make a stereo pair, and I default to playing music over these instead of my full sized stereo due to the ease of use, and almost comparable sound quality (for background music).

I upgraded to the Amazon Echo Plus because my original Amazon Echo kept disconnecting from my WiFi. I figured if I updated it would fix the connectivity issues and I was right. What I didn’t expect is how well the sound is on this new Amazon Echo Plus. I have it on my fridge and the bass kicks. I like to listen to music while I wash the dishes and the echo conveniently connects to my Apple Music Subscription letting me listen to all my favorite hits.

I purchased the Amazon Echo 2nd Gen earlier in the year, and I loved it! The Echo Plus 2nd Gen is clearly a step above, both in terms of functionality and sound quality. I love that it has built-in control for smart bulbs without having to buy a separate bridge. Definitely packs more bass when it comes to music.

Love the sound of this device. It’s room filling and the bass is decent. Pairs well with multiple hue bulbs and is very responsive. Definitely recommend this product.

Bluetooth speaker I had been pairing my echo dot with died, so instead of wasting my money on another Bose product, I grabbed one of these on sale for $70 (which also came with a free Hue bulb). The sound is good, better than expected. Bass is impressive for the size, has a fairly bright but not shrill sound signature. For casual kitchen listening I don’t think this product can be beat.

These speakers sound great. I have two and use them as home theater speakers with the new feature from Alexa. I have 1 by my tv and 1 behind me, this helps with total room sound. I do not want a surround sound system. I prefer hearing the sound all around me helps me hear what is being spoken. The bass is really good also.

This Echo does the same as all the other ones and then some. For instance it has a hub built it which makes it able to communicate with things such as the Philip's lights without the need of a bridge. Also it has a deeper more powerful bass as compared to the other models.

Music listeners, you will prefer the Plus over all other dots. Significant improvement in bass and low range vs standard echo. If I were to do it over again however I would have added another Sonos play 1. The microphone/wake mode on the Sonos has improved dramatically over the year and sounds much better. If music/sound quality is priority go with Sonos otherwise all the other cool Alexa eco-systyem stuff is worth stepping up to the plus.

I bought this to replace my Echo Dot and Bose speaker. Now I don't have to turn on a separate speaker. It does all the great Alexa stuff and sounds great too. The bass is so good it was vibrating my toaster oven next to it.

I bought this to act as a Hub for the house. It’s sleek and clean looking. The bass is much better than the previous model.

Purchased this alexa along with an amazon sub woofer, definitely satisfied with the the deep bass and vibrant sound

Much nicer looking and better sound than my first generation Echo. More bass and better tone overall. I’m considering a second one to get stereo, mono sound is getting boring. The original black cylinder is now in the garage

this thing shakes mt tv it has so much bass, and it works seemlessly with all my other alexa products. the best part is im able to connect up to 50 hue bulbs with this thing with out having to create any other accounts or by any hubs or adapters. the app walked me through setup and it took just about 5 mins

I love echo plus that’s why I have two of them. The bass is so good that I enjoy listening to music. Alexa recognizes my voice really well. I use echo plus also to turn off and on my lampshades which to me serve its purpose very well.

The size of the 2nd gen is much smaller then the 1st and the bass on the speaker is much better. Priced accordingly for speaker\smart comparable in the market.
