works great in the basement and 3rd floor. would like to be able to use the app to drop in but it stopped working. alexa is still able to drop in on a room but you need to do it thru the echo spot. weather app is nice and the clock display is cool. not much to choose from however. i do wish the screen was a little bigger so i can see it better at night or when im waking up.

The look and feel of this echo is nice. I love being able to wake up and just see the time. The screen is small but good enough. Would recommend it as a bedroom Alexa. The sound is not loud but again it is good enough. I got it while on sale.

Great product. Simple to use and easy access to Spotify playlists and radio stations through Alexa. Excellent sound. Perfect if you want a simple clock/alarm/weather, with easy access to music.

Very good, precision, good audio and connectivity. I have had a problem and that is that when connecting it with a Bluetooth and then disconnecting an icon appears as if it were playing audio, but it does not affect at all so it is fine

Our family loves the Amazon Echo and the Alexa feature. They are so useful from setting alarms, using our smart home lights, or reminding us of events or meetings. Our echo's have definitely helped in keeping our home aligned with day-to-day tasks and processes

Time and temperature always handy to see. But best of all is the great sound. Much improved from my earlier echos. And it looks good too.

What I like: Ease of setup. Can control lights and ask about the weather, etc. Good quality sound for such a small device. What I don’t like: Can’t set the clock numerals to red. Even the ‘night time’ numerals, which are supposed to be red, are actually more orange, and the entire background is lit up, slightly, instead of really being black. In other words, the display is pretty cheap looking. If the power goes out, some times it doesn’t re-connect to wifi when the power comes back on. Wonder what would happen if I have an alarm set. Selections of clock face are mostly lame. Amazon, give some more clock face selections, and make one of them ‘real red’. Adaptive brightness doesn’t work very well. They need to make this better, and maybe even make it adjustable. Overall it’s a pretty good device for the price, but there’s sure room for improvement.

You can see the daily weather on the clock display. You can ask Alexa to set your alarm all week for the same time. The numbers are large enough too see from a distance. Great color choices. The sound of the speakers are pretty good too.

This was bought as a Smart Hub and Alarm Clock for our teenage son. He loves it. It is linked to our WiFi, it’s voice controlled, and has White Noise options as well as Clock/Alarm Display options. He LOVES it, and we love the functionality and ease of use. If you are familiar with Amazon devices, you can easily use this and link it to your Amazon account, which then can link it to your WiFi network, etc.

I’ve been using the new Echo Spot for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. The design is sleek and modern — it looks fantastic on my nightstand. The curved screen and customizable clock faces make it both functional and elegant. The sound quality is a big step up from the older Echo Dot — it’s rich, clear, and surprisingly powerful for such a compact device. I love how it fills the room when I play music or listen to the news. Alexa works flawlessly — from setting alarms and reminders to giving me weather updates and controlling my smart lights. I especially appreciate how the display shows song titles, timers, and weather animations without being too bright at night.

Updated Echo Spot. I wanted Smart Speaker with a clock and this fit the need. I already had the original Echo Spot, but 5his updated one is a little bigger, very nice clock display and great sound.

I am impressed with this version of the Amazon Echo. It is smaller, yet it displays all the information necessary to start my day. It has an attractive design that complements any environment in the home.
