Big difference ove the last fire stick. More memory and my channels are coming in faster and more clear. Overall it is very responsive now.

Great deal. I recently picked up the Fire TV Stick 4K Max, and it’s definitely made a difference in my streaming setup. The installation was straightforward, and I was impressed by how quickly apps load compared to my old device. Watching shows in 4K has been a nice upgrade; the picture quality is sharp and vibrant. Enjoying my Amazon - Fire TV Stick 4K Max. Was unsure about the whole process because I have always had cable. This has been a very easy transition.

first i'm a big appleTV (hardware) fan and bought 4k max to try. for what i paid it's okay but if paying full msrp would be disappointed. first up is the remote .. light & cheap but works well. picture is good and UI is functional & responsive. however did experience random buffering & hangs with video (not often but this was with amazon's own app that i never experienced with appleTV & 1gb fiber & amazon app). and the interface seems like one big AD driven attempt to "integrate" different services (or hide them) under the fire UI. hdmi-cec works well with my setup and found a full selection of expected app's. the length of the power cable fell short for my setup & tv's 15w usb indicated it was under powered (but worked?) but extension cord & included usb brick worked well. without appleTV hardware, i could live with this stick as an inexpensive alternative .. just buy it on sale (often). also, storage seems limited .. my watch has 4x more .. but was more than enough for my needs.

Finally they came oit with the xtra storage 16 gigs just like the cube and great price. Cant beat the price and faster then any other stick out there .

This version has proven to be the smoothest of all the ones I have owned. Ease of use is great, voice command is convenient, and its a great price.

The Firestick MAX is awesome. It doubles RAM, doubles storage capacity, and accelerates response and load times. App updates seem to max out capacity on other models way too soon. Firestick MAX is the next thing to the cube.

Much better than previous generations. I took a few years away from the Fire Sticks because I found them clunky and not very good. The 4K Max version is much more snappy and responsive. The picture quality and audio is good too. Great price as well. Would recommend to anyone in the Amazon ecosystem or just wanting a simple straight forward device!
