This reader doesn’t strain my eyes and I love the night-view setting. The battery lasts a long time. I love the light-weight feel. Set up was quick and simple.

My first e-reader. Functions are very intuitive and easy to use. Easier on the eyes than ink on paper. Great for both reading in the dark & in sunlight.

My wife has failing vision and has used a Kindle reader for years. The backlit screen, variable size print, and ease of use have made it an important addition to her day to day schedule.

I needed a new kindle as my old one died. I love the Paperwhite for reading! I didn't want a tablet due to the glare and I wanted something light and easy to carry anywhere. This is all those things.

Got this for my GF who loves to read. The screen is quite amazing and the battery seems to last forever. This thing blows my mind, and my girlfriend loves it.

I love Kindles and this is my 6th one. After about two years they magically stop working. I like this one because it is water resistant and I read in the hot tub. I do notice that it lags a little compared to the previous version. I also like that it the whole screen is flat.

Couldn’t imagine going back to real books or any other e-reader. It’s small, lightweight, and reads AMAZING in the sun - no glare! Couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

My last Kindle product was from 2010, so this upgrade was amazing! I love the ability to control the brightness of the backlighting, the ability to reverse the light to dark mode...and have loved the battery life! I paired mine with a leather case and feel like I'll own this product for another 10+ years. I also got the kindle with ads included (for a cheaper price) and have not been bothered by ads being on the lock-screen. If you're not annoyed by ads on your lockscreen, or if you plan to use a case, I'd definitely recommend getting the cheaper paperwhite that has ads included.

I have an original Kindle so this one is taking a little time to get use to. It is very easy to read in the light or dark. The battery lasts a lone time also.

Love my kindle!!! It's light weight (to me) and perfect holding size. The back light is a definitely a must for night time reading. The responsiveness is slow but it is a book so what is the rush.

I bought this Kindle version in Thanksgiving in $84 for my daughter and she is really enjoying it. It is lightweight, comfortable and perfect size to handle to read. Great Product!

Sleek, easy to setup and fun to use. Downloaded a purchased book and a library book! Easy to do either one. No bedside table lamp required if you read in bed!

I decided to treat myself and am glad I did. Stuck inside with no book during quarantine would have been unbearable. This reader allows me to continue with what I love even when libraries are closed. The contrast on the screen is nice and more paper like. Easy to change font sizes and navigate. I like that it's linked with Goodreads which I was already using. Kindle has lots of great books at a variety of price points. I'm considering getting a second one for my daughter.

Perfect reading on this Kindle. I love the paperwhite. It holds a charge for a very long time. Easy to hold and easy to use
