As a former Kindle Fire owner, I was really looking forward to the Kindle Paperwhite due to its straightforwardness. I didn't want a reader that was similar to an iPad--that's what I have my computer and phone for. This Kindle is so easy to travel with, the battery lasts forever, and you can't really beat the antiglare. Love this purchase!

First one had issues. This one has worked perfectly for me so far. Great screen and battery.

Nothing replaces a real book, but this comes close. I am a student and I know the benefits of having a real print book in front of you. I also travel alot and this is where the Kindle comes in clutch. I use it for personal/spiritual reading. It allows you to take notes and leave highlights in a convenient way. I would never deny a classic book in print for a Kindle version but the ease of use is undeniable.

My wife always said she didn't want one of these electronic readers, she preferred the real thing. I took a chance and got this one for her for Christmas. She was initially skeptical, but gave it a fair chance. Now she really likes it! She picked out a nice cover for it on her own. I think the thing that sold the Paperwhite was the small form factor, and the page white display, unlike reading something on a tablet. Although it will never replace the feel of a real book in hand, it is very compact for travelling and will be something she will use as an addition to her vast library.

Absolutely amazing battery life with a non-glare screen. My only wish is that it was bigger so I didn't have to turn the pages quite so often.

I really like the ability to pair a bluetooth headset and listen to audiobooks in addition to using as an e-book reader. Easily viewable in sunshine and doesn't feel too cheaply made for the price. Battery life is just decent but not stellar. Sometimes I'll pick it up after it's been sitting idle for a few days and I'm surprised how much battery has depleted. I blame the Amazon Ads for that, though.
