I wanted an e-reader that could go with me anywhere. I have a ipad mini but sometimes I want something smaller. This Kindle paperwhite was exactly what I was looking for.

If you love reading this is definitely something you should think about to buy. In general the experience of reading is great. Maybe it’s kind of slow, but I understand it saves battery. The last time I did charge that was 15 days ago and I’m using it at least for one hour a day. I would recommend that for a friend.

I got great deal. 99.00 sale. Only issue is holding it while dozing off..... can jump pages real easy since you just touch right side of page to page forward. Overall nice reader. You can read outside in bright sun to a room in total darkness. Gave it 4 stars because I still miss paperback though this is darn close!

I was replacing an old Kindle that was no longer being supported. This new one is even better! The Geek Squad was awesome in helping me to set up my new Kindle. Outstanding device and outstanding Geek Squad support!

For those who like to read, this is a great tool to have. So many options for bringing books with you and not having to lug the books. Best buy guy was fairly knowledgeable and helped us identify the right one.

Bought this for my daughter, who is a Prime member and avid reader. She likes the waterproof feature. I was happy to purchase this through Best Buy, where I can visit if I have any issues.

I purchased 2 of these for my husband and myself. We love them. We're reading more and so easy to use.love the fact there is no color. Zero distractions like read on my iphone or iPad.

I always said I would never own one of these because I am an avid paper book reader. I received this as a gift for Christmas from one of my best friends. She was spot on because I absolutely love it!

I don't really read books before, however once I purchased a kindle I read book every day. It's really easy to hold and much better than the phone! I can read books for hours without my eyes hurt.

The paperwhite kindle has been my favorite for years. Battery life is crazy long, the display is bright and crisp, and it does what it should without a problem.

I was looking for a tablet to read books on this one was a perfect purchase, good quality,eash to use, and the price was great, would recommend to anyone this is a great value

I love this kindle! It’s a nice upgrade from the one that I had from 2014. I like that I can read in my kiddie pool and not have to be paranoid that I’ll drop it in the water and ruin it.

I love my Paperwhite. This is not my first Paperwhite but I used my previous Paperwhite so much that was time for a new one. All my books transferred to my new one with no problem and I could keep reading with no down time.

Got thisnfor my wife who was a traditional paper book reader and didnt want a errader. Shes addicted to this thing and weve gotten my mother one too and shes addicted as well.

I like this reader for it's compact size. It's easy to navigate. The only flaw I've discovered is it won't play any media in the Making of Star Wars books. It should be able but so far I've determined that I can only access that media using iPad or Kindle fire. Still a good compact e-reader nonetheless.

Bought it mainly to read books before going to bed as it doesn’t emit blue light. Great for a such use. It’s light and easy to hold in hand. A big complaint is its sluggishness especially when you are trying to highlight text or when you’re on the home screen trying to select a book to read.

I recently bought the Kindle Paperwhite and case. It is everything I hoped it would be. Love the backlight so I can read in the dark if need be or just because I want to. I highly reccomendi to anyone who loves to read.

Changed my reading behavior. Finished 2 books since I got it and currently going thru my third. All because of this kindle. Screen and e-ink is just like paper!

Very bright screen and very responsive. Does what it says it does and makes reading much easier. Since purchasing this, I prefer using this a opposed to reading an actual book

Bought this for my 89 year old father who just found out he had macular degeneration and was noticing difficulty reading the Bible. Love the black on white paperwhite. Easy on the eyes. Much less eye strain. Not knowing much about kindles, I was able to download the Bible and set the font to a larger and bolder size. Navigating through the books of the Bible is fairly easy and my Dad is able to do this with little frustration. I do wish there was a quickguide or instruction booklet for my father to refer too and also for me since I am helping him. I tried to youtube to learn some navigating tricks but didn't find what I needed. The paperwhite was on sale and now I wish I had purchased two of them...one for me too!
