Bought this for my wife to replace an old unit that didn't have a backlight. I was leery about the "with special offers", but it's no big deal. Now, I think I may get one for myself!

This is the best Kindle I've owned yet. This is my 3rd kindle, and by far my favorite. The backlight is great and makes it clear and ready to read in the dark.

very light and easy to carry around. bought as a gift for 8 year old child. I am not sure which is brtter - child version of kindle or this one, but works well for for my child.

Not great as a tablet but if you're just looking to read books through the amazon store you'll love this E-reader. Works fast and can last days to a month on 1 charge depending on your usage.

Did not think I would like this at first. However once it was set up I actually like it better than my original kindle. Easy to read and compact.

Very easy to use. Makes reading so much easier and enjoyable, works really well in low light. Was able to set it up and load books in less than 5 minutes.

This was purchased for my aunt who is in her 80s. She wanted another E-reader to replace one she had that broke. We decided to get this one because of the non-glare surface and then thin size. This is not an easy to maneuver device and it is difficult for my aunt to learn how to move around once she is on it. The print is way too small on the home screen and in the library and when you are searching for books. There is no way to make that font larger, only when you are reading a book. She is keeping it because the size makes it convenient for traveling, but I don't know that I would recommend this for an older person or for someone who has trouble reading small font. I am in my 40s and not quite into reading glasses but I had a hard time reading the font.

I so enjoy the kindle to read stories on. This is my second one. The first one finally died I used it so much. I went that very day to get the new one. It is very easy to use.

I am reviewing a replacement Kindle. The original one had a battery issue. It took a long time to charge and it did not hold the charge. The second one was much better. I especially like having the ability to listen to audio books.

This e-reader is a convenient size to hold in one hand and its lighting options are easy on the eyes. Some of the many available functions are a bit difficult to figure out, but this is a minor inconvenience. Overall, it is a very good product that does what it is designed to do.

Nice little ereader. The size makes it easy to throw in a purse of bag to take with you on the go. The built in light makes it nice to read at night with no hassle.

Great for anyone that likes to read out in the sun. The battery life is impeccable. I’m thankful for the associates at this location that helped me find the best bang for my buck.
