Have had it for about a month and have read 4 books so far. I can read the print just fine even in the sunlight. No color and a bit difficult getting used to the home page but overall it's a good product. I would definitely recommend it.

The backlight is nice and easy on the eyes, but truly, the magic of a Kindle is that it’s like reading newsprint that you can customize the font and size.

As I learn to work it, I am enjoying it more. Background is nice & easy to read. Have to buy some headphones! 8GB holds a lot! Good buy!

As far as electronic reading devices, it can’t get better than Kindle. The catalog is so vast and the portability is unparalleled!

I like the Kindle Psperwhite because it is small like a book so I can put it into my purse and read it snytime.

My old Kindle would no longer hold a charge so I got the new PaperWhite reader and love it. My bookshelf transferred without a hitch. I just wish I could figure out how to reverse the type to white on a black page, like my old Kindle did.
