The job of the unit itself is great. My lack of 5 stars is due to, 1. The app… it’s got potential, but it has some serious issues, especially with notifications, which are kind of important for any cooking you walk away from. 2. I wish the clamp was adjustable up and down and a little more durable. This thing hangs at the top and I feel like it wastes a bit of water now being able to lower down. Im sure what container you use makes a difference. Overall, I am very happy with it. *just fix the app.

This was my 1st sous vide device and I love it. I use it at least on a weekly basis and it makes the best steaks ever. works perfect with the 12qt rubbermaid container. The app makes it easy to program and start and has a ton of recipes as well. recommended for singles or family up to 4. If you got more people, you'll need a bigger one.I would use this with more than 3 gallons of water, even though it says it can handle 5.

The Sous Vide cooker from Anova is very easy to operate and I even can use my blue tooth phone connection to run it. Tonight I will try a pork roast for the first time. I can't wait!

Straightforward and consistent results every time. The nano is a complement to my original Anova sous vide. Sous Vide style of cooking is great for the professional chef and the first timer learning to cook. The nano consistently performs to render that perfect steak or the most succulent of vegetables. After your cook, you can simply sear with a pastry torch of onto the grill for a minute on each side.

I got this for my son for Christmas and he loves it. He makes steaks cooked to a perfect Medium Rare and then sears them on the grill. Has used it for pulled pork and lots of other things. He got a vacuum sealer to make it even better. He is a bit of a gourmet cook
