Customers are positive about the battery backup, compact size, and affordability of this product, citing ease of setup and installation as additional benefits. However, customers are negative about the outlet type, noting the lack of grounded outlets, and the brightness of the indicator light. Many appreciate its small form factor, making it suitable for various spaces. The positive feedback on battery backup functionality is prominent.

These are nice for low wattage devices for which I want a longer runtime. I have three of these in service so far and they are performing well. However, there is room for improvement.
1. The outlets are not three pronged. They are only two pronged. This is a pain for some items you might want to plug in.
2. The unit emits a very bright green light at all times. I have found that many other devices are also designed with little concern for the amount of light they emit, making them unsuitable for certain locations (like bedrooms).
3. I find the outlets are too close to the side that has the slotted holes for wall mounting. It would be better if the outlets where both three pronged and centered front to back. For example, I use a WeMo switch in conjunction with some networking equipment for the purpose of power-cycling the equipment. The WeMo Insight is both three pronged and so large that it hits the wall (right on the WeMo power button) even though I have a board mounted behind my UPS as a spacer!

Set up is easy and worked as described. I connected my modern and router and charged the battery over 24 hours. Pulled the power cord to see how long the battery last. It gave a loud short bip both modern and router still working. After 2 hours still working.

When the power failed, it beeped once and then was silent unlike the other UPS which beeped on and on. Easily lasted about 10 minutes before power was restored. One problem is the power on light which is BRIGHT and would be overwhelming in a bedroom. The second problem is that it will NOT accept plugs which have a ground prong (3 prong). Some low wattage equipment have three prong plugs.

Works as promised. Powered my router (motorola) and Time Capsule for over 1 hour without issue during a recent outage. Small enough to fit in small spaces. Second one for my mom is hidden under a couch in her living room, easily concealed.

I have bought 3 of these's to use in different place's at my home office. One of the reasons I bought them is because there a compact size and your able to put in small tight places and mount almost any where you want them to be. Mind you they only work with small devices like routers, internet modems to be able to get the up to 3hr power backup time ( not recommend for Tv's or pc's ). Plus having these's guys helps to stop taking away power voltage demands on my primary power backups for my major devices like TV and PC since there on there on power backup now..

I was looking for a UPS that would last longer that 20 minutes. Most UPS are designed for high power use age like a PC or a monitor. This is not it is a low power device that powers the DSL box, cable box, and switch for the devices in the home including WiFi for several hours.
It is not for a PC or monitor.
Size is about half of a regular UPS and it hangs on the wall.
I was disapoined that the recpticales were just 2 wire and not 3 wire.

I needed a small UPS for a network camera. This was perfect. The only negative is that many small network appliances use power bricks with 3-prong plugs and won't work with this.

I think the price is great and it was cheaper on BB than amazon, but I failed to realize that one of my devices actually needed a ground pin. So keep that in mind if you purchase. I had to return mine, unfortunately.

I haven't had any power outages yet, but the backup lights up and acts like it should. If it does as advertised, I'll be very happy. It makes sense that they would make different backups for low wattage appliances. hopefully it lives up to its potential.

I bought these to backup 2 flood sensors for my security system. I haven't had a power failure yet to know how well they work, but they are very nice don't take up much space. I have no doubt they will do the job.

Bought this unit for back-up power for our modem, router, and wireless camera base station. Should get 2 -3 hours of back-up power....plenty of time for the cameras to capture pics of crooks.

This was an ideal UPC for my router, NAS, and Cable Modem. I just moved out to the country where power outages are more frequent and longer lasting, this was a compact and inexpensive solution.

We’ve always had power issues in this house because we’re at the end of the electric company’s main circuit. Using APC products saves me from replacing at least 2-3 big-ticket electronics every year.
I use them for all my a/v and network equipment, and haven’t had to replace one in years due to brownouts or spikes.
This little baby is perfect when you just have a couple small, low draw things (internet modem and router, for example) or a teenie space (such as a basement closet).
