I use the APC for my modem and router, when blackout I don't like my electronic shut off instantly, im afraid its going to burn the montherboard, too much current at once. It was very easy to set up, nothing really needed, just plug in the battery and plug into the wall outlet, simple as that. Overall I love the new design, less bulky and taller than before.

great product for the price I bought 2 of them. one for computer/modem and router and a second one for my landline cable Telephone modem. they were on sale that is why I bought 2 of them. even at full price still a great value. has handy side mount which worked awesome to mount in the basement rafters for the phone modem.

We use these at every computer at work, they are our go-to. They are ultra reliable and the batteries usually last several years. They've only gotten better over time. Make sure the one that you're getting has enough ports for your setup.

Bought this to provide backup power to my ARRIS SB6141 cable modem and WiFi router during momentary and short duration power outages. Lets us report and check the status on any power outages - and amuse ourselves until it returns using our tablets and phones.

I have 2 aerogardens plugged into this on my kitchen counter. I wanted something smaller for those annoying power flashes, but this was the smallest battery backup I could find. Now I don't have to reset everything when the electricity flashes! Wish I would have bought it sooner.

We were originally planning on buying a replacement battery for a much smaller UPS. But then we saw Best Buy had this complete unit for the same price, so we snatched it up. We're very happy with it, especially at the price. Curbside pickup was fast and easy.

Good price on the 425VA Unit, and this is a must if you have a desktop PC or a router. Surge protectors are useless, thats why you want to keep your equipment protected. Make sure you get a battery backup and remember don't plug your laser printer in the battery side, it will short out the battery and trip it.

Easy to use. Took out the paper blocking the battery connection and plugged it into the wall. Plugged in my TV, AppleTV and PS4. Two weeks later our area suffered a black out. The battery back-up lasted through the power outage and I was able to charge my iPhone while waiting for the power to come back on.

The APC Back-UPS 450VA Battery Back-Up System is an outstanding small UPS that has plenty of outlets and fits in tight areas. I use this UPS to surge protect and back up several pieces of small networking equipment in my home. The unit fits very well in a small space in a utility closet. It is "set and forget" with no worries.

Great Battery Backup. I put my internet modem on it and when the lights flickered the internet stayed connected as it did its job I have other APC's for my computers in the other rooms and they too stay up without glitch when the lights flicker.

This is an excellent inexpensive battery backup to prevent damage or data loss to your computer in the event of power surges or lags.It has a total of six outlets with surge protection, four of which are backed up by a battery. For more powerful systems, you may want to move up to a higher cost APC system.

Living in Florida has its perks, unfortunately it also has its downsides like daily power flickers that knock you off the internet. Thankfully this bad boy APC unit saves the day so my internet and computer stay working no matter how many a/c units turn on at once in the neighborhood throughout the day.

This items has enough juice to power all my small network devices (Cable modem, Wireless Router, Cable Phone Modem) for at least 5 mins. I unplug the main power from the wall outlet and timed. I didn't wait until the juice ran out so 5 min is the minimum amount of run time. The item is not too big so it fits nicely behind the table that the electronics sit on top of. The only issue is that the plugs are too close so they can be easily blocked by transformer plugs. I fixed that problem by buying 1 inch extension from Amazon.

I have 2 of these and the new one is lighter than the older model still dose the same thing, So its more modern, They provide power to my network router and wireless transmitter, perfect for small electronics not heavy on power loads...

In Florida, we have thunderstorms and with thunderstorms, short term power losses. Sometimes they can last for a few seconds,but that’s all it takes for your DVR to stop recording or your digital phone to drop a call. So besides having a back up UPS for my computer and router I have backup ups on my phone, DVR and TV.

This is my second APC brand unlimited power supply. The first one took the brunt of a close lightning strike that frazzled the APC but save the equipment that was attached to it. Rah! I can't ask it to do any more than that and it does it well. I even have an APC brand UPS for my use at home.

I have been using this with my tv and blue-ray player for a while. It works as advertised and comes on smoothly when my power goes out without interrupting the tv or player. I am not sure how long it would power the tv and player since 5 minutes is as long as power has been out so far. I would say it is a good power backup for low power devices.

I didn't realize my last back up power supply was dead until my computer kept shutting off during little power surges we experienced. I know that replacement batteries are usually close to what a new back up costs so I got this one. Already I have seen it save my computer (and work in process) from a power surge.

This is an item I wouldn't want to be without, so when the last one "croaked". I went on line shopping and found this at Best Buy at a decent price. Just like the computer said, it was in stock! No running around. It works fine and living in the lightening capital of the USA, I rely on it to keep my computers and other electronics safe.

So far, this one hasn't been tested with an outage or surge. This is replacing the same product I bought 5+ years ago that suffered through many surges and came back strong until I plugged in the iron in and it had just had enough......
