    I did my research. I read that the new iPad Pro could replace my 15" MacBook Pro and probably run faster. In addition, I prefer the IOS operating system and touch screen over macOS. And I could buy a fully loaded iPad Pro for half the price of a new MacBook Pro. So I did. After 3 days of joyful use, it died (would not power on). Best Buy ordered me a replacement with no hassle what so ever. That's a big plus for Best Buy :). It was difficult to go back to my MacBook Pro. Fortunately, the new iPad arrived sooner than promised and was up and running in a few days. So, "Can the new iPad Pro replace a laptop or desktop computer?" "Is it a computer or just another tablet?" I keep a lot of data files on my laptop computer and make heavy use of Finder. Apple's current solution on the iPad Pto is an app named FileManager. It is less useful to me than the Finder was on my laptop. But improvements are coming and IOS 13 is being replaced with iPadOS. Hopefully, I will get used to it. Did I over configure the iPad Pro for what I really need? Yes, I probably did. I have all my data and photos on iCloud so it was a huge overkill to purchase the 1 TB version. I could have saved at least $500 if I had done so. Overall, I love the new iPad Pro and highly recommend it.

    Happy apple finally put 1tb of storage on their third gen iPad Pro 12.9. This gen is slightly smaller but has the same screen size. I do miss no having a headphone jack, however that is easily overcome with an adapter, yes there are adapters that allows charging and use of headphones at the same time. Having the model with cellular built in allows for date use anywhere there is cellular coverage. Being a DJ this allows me to access iTunes to buy request on the spot.

    The best iPad amongst all Apple iPads! It is very thin, stylish and light weight even with a case on. The big and ultra clear screen makes it very easy to draw. If you are torn between 11” and 12.9”, I really would recommend the 12.9”.
