    She has tired of other/off brand cords for her Apple devices, says they don't hold up as Apple products do, so I now just spend the extra money to get them and have her satisfied. Maybe I'm saving money in long run by not buying replacement cords of other brands...

    This 6.6” USB-C cable is a little more expensive compared to Anker, but it’s not terribly priced compared to other Apple accessories. The plastic rubber cable, especially near the connector, is a bit thin and slightly fragile. I can see it eventually splitting with regular use. But the actual USB-C connector is well made and a single piece of metal vs other ones that have clear markings where you can see the metal joined together.

    My daughters new Macbook Air stopped charging. I bought this new cable to see if that would make it charge again and it did. It was an easy fix for a serious problem. Glad it was in stock at my local Best Buy.

    I purchase this to give me a neither option to charge my 2021 14" MacBook Pro instead of the MagSafe. I have a 2 port thunderbolt dongle the covers the MagSafe connect. Should've include with the computer though :)

    Honestly, apple aren't the only cables that make cables capable of charging your apple device but IMHO they are about the best for your apple device. I recommend spending a couple extra dollars to get decent cables.

    I like this cable more than my old, original one that came with my MacBook Pro. This one is thinner and lighter. I also appreciate that the Apple guy took the time to explain the difference.
