    This cable should be 7 bucks tops, maybe 5. Every one I've ever owned has failed after about a year or two of use - and I baby my phones and accessories. They're prone to coming apart where the cable connects to the connector. I have two lightning cables connected to the same computer right now that I use to connect two iphones. One works, the other does't. Both were bought around the same time and it doesn't matter which phone I use or which usb port I use.
