Very fast, can connect a bunch of devices without any lag!

Great router, easy to set up, refurb was just like new.

It is set up a wired access point. It moves effortlessly around the house with other apple routers on the wireless. Set the settings first then plug into your network. Set up as new network not existing by plugging your computer into the router. Set as bridge. Match wireless name and password. Reboot while plugging into your network.

Can't go wrong with apple it's the best! Improved my speed too

The first one I received still had the original owners account and password protection on it. Tech support was not helpful at all. Took back, ordered another one (its a great price). The second one was undescoverable, again Tech support was not helpful, took back to store and bought a new one. Not worth the trouble, apple support won't help with the refurbished unit and Best Buy Techs will not either!!!! Plus in the process there was a problem with their network and it took 2 weeks to process the second order.

This makes my interenet the fastest I have ever had

I use the Airport Extreme as a bridge to extend the signal of my Time Capsule. They work harmoniously together and I now have no dead spots in my house. Download speeds are fast and transferring files to/from the Time Capsule are incredibly fast. Great product.

The AirPort Extreme is an easy to set up network device that is perfect for households in the Apple ecosystem. Support for both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands plus a guest network make this a great buy. Add to that the lower price of a quality refurbished item, this is hard to beat.

I just got the unit and haven't had it long enough to give an honest rating but dealing with Best Buy has been a good experience and I rate them 5 stars. I hope that Apple's Extreme turns out to be as good as Best Buy service, it is doing good for now.

This wireless base station was recommended by the technician for my internet company. I was having trouble with a constant connection and multiple users. Directions on set up did not come with this, had to find the instructions online. So far so good.

It works as if it were new-I think-but the packaging looks as if it went through a tornado. Covered in dirt, scratches, ripped paper, wholes, etc. there should be an alternative form of packaging for the device if the original is returned in such a state

I had been having issues with my internet but the company said there hadn't been outages on their end. So I bought this router and it's been a lot better now. No more dropped internet connections!

Love my new Apple Airport Extreme. Since Comcast updated my internet speed, my old one couldn't keep on with wifi. In addition to 4+ times the wifi speed of my old one, the security is improved as well, by adding a separate node for guests to use.

I have a home network using an original Airport for years but experienced problems with dropped WiFi connections while outside in yard. This extreme fits the bill - no more dropped connections and reduced lag when everyone in the house is gaming.

There are many reviews online stating that it doesn't perform as asus, linksys, etc. From my personal experience (I had Asus, Linksys, Netgear) Apple router gives you stable and strong connection.

First, I'm a huge fan of this product and how it works. It's a seamless internet router that works splendidly. Secondly, I bought it refurbished and it had minor scratches on it. Other than that, it works flawlessly.

I used this to replace my Linksys router and I was blown away with the reliability of it. I was always losing wifi while steaming Netflix and this router fixed it. The range improved slightly but the realiability of this router is what sets it apart.

Works very well in an apt with other wireless access points. No dropped connections or slow loading times. Previous router require constant tweaking of frequencies and that still didn't help.
