Great router. Works flawlessly and looks beautiful!

It serves the Wifi Routing purpose, but doesn;t work well with other wifi access points. And not much feature when compared to other products even with lower price.

Didn’t come with instructions but figured out setup after a few tries. Wish it had on/off switch.

I bought this product on Oct. 12 and received about a week later. About 3 days ago (Nov. 21) devices in my house started to lose wifi. I checked for updates, reset the device etc. and nothing has helped. Nothing changed in my system setup prior to the problems (I have degrees in Electrical and Software Engineering). Believe the other reviews that these devices are NOT refurbished. They are likely problem devices that were returned and repackaged. You "might" get lucky and get a good one but spend the extra $100 and buy new. As it is, I'm going to be out the money as I'm beyond the 15 day return period.

This product is labeled as "Geek Squad Certified Refurbished", but after receiving it, I have no idea what that is supposed to mean. From the appearance f the box and product inside, it seems to mean that Best Buy received it back as a returned product and then immediately shipped it out to me without inspecting it, nor performing any art of "refurbishing" whatsoever. The outer box was quite dirty and dented. The actual product was dirty, but thankfully without any permanent damage. In regards to the router itself, like most Apple products, it is amazing. in fact, it is the third Airport Extreme that I own. All of my WiFI devices work flawlessly with it.

I should be carefull buying any refurbished product from BestBuy , special an apple product. The router came in a poor poor condition with a lot o scratches and scuffts and to put the icing on the cake didnt even work..... The geek squad sucks !!!one thing i have to mention the return was easy and fast.

Hopefully, the new one will work, but I spent 30 minutes with the Geek Squad guy and waited 45 minutes in line at Best Buy to return it. Not sure if I'll get a refurbished item next time.

It's a good router but range is the same as my time capsule

I bought this refurbished unit because of the discount. The product obviously had not been tested by best buy before reselling, it did not work and needed to be returned to the store.

I have setup many Airport wireless networks before and after multiple attempts this geek squad certified refurbished unit was unable to create a network. It was apparently returned and not tested properly for refurbished resale.

Spent three hours. Would not hold settings. Returned without any issues. Disappointed that it was certified refurbished and was clearly a bad unit.

My refurbished AirPort Extreme did not work. When I went to Best Buy to return it, the gentleman in front of me was returning a refurbished antenna. I was impressed when they gave him a new antenna at no additional cost. When I returned my extreme and told them I wanted a new Extreme. They said I would have to pay the difference. I kept my cool, although I was disappointed, I paid the difference.

I received the router with no instructions in a plain Brown box.

This item is still new to me, but so far so good no complaints from the kids.

Poor customer service, no directions, come on Best Buy you can do better!

Was excited about the purchase, but ultimately it didn't work out. Unit was clean and the light lit, but it didn't broadcast a signal. I'm not sure seeing the light turn on qualifies as certified for refurbishment, but Best Buy refunded the price with no questions asked. Maybe next time...

This unit was dead on arrival and the store refused to replace it. I got a discount on a new one, but still had to pay more money I shouldn't have.

This unit was not refurbished. Was told it was most likely an out of box demo unit. It was not, it had been sold and still had a network name. Did not have the one year warranty as I was told it had. If this is typical Geek Squad work, I would never use them!
