Awesome speaker. Fills room with sound. Seamlessly plays from Apple TV, iPhone, mac, and iPad.

I am in absolute love with all the Apple HomePods. The sound quality as a stereo pair is wonderful. HomePods make using Apple HomeKit so easy. Plus, I don't feel like they spy on me as much as Alexa. You know you mention something near Alexa and suddenly it is on your Amazon feed?

I know there's been many glowing reviews of the new HomePod and some not as glowing.
Here are my thoughts, the sound is great, there' a solid bass sound out of it. The form factor is nice, it's smaller than a device like the Echo Studio. The built in Tenmp/Humidity sensors are a nice addition. It has that solid Apple build look and quality to it.
Now, would I add a second for stereo sound, probably not. For the price of two I'd go for something like the Sonos Arc which I think has better overall quality and sound. The ability to have two HomePods connected to an Apple TV is a great option, but again at that price I think Sonos would be better for a few dollars more. Plus, if you use them for TV sound you're stuck always being in the Apple universe for all your TV watching. The other issue at least for me, Apple doesn't integrate with SiriusXM or Spotify, to start either of those services you'll need to go to your device and can't simply say "Hey Siri play Spotify/Play Yacht Rock on SiriusXM"
If you're in love with Apple, you'll of course love this, if you're familiar with many of the other smart speaker options, I am not sure you'll see that big of a difference for the cost. (now if it dropped by $50 I think it'd be the ideal price point) I would recommend it for those deeply into the Apple Ecosystem/Apple Home setup. If you're not and more in the Nest/Echo ecosystem then you may be disappointed.

We are an apple household. Mac, Macbook, airpods, iphone, ipad... It made sense for us to get a Home Pod. We did have an Alexa unit, which was great, but.. just didn't offer the seamless connection that the HomePod has. I loved how easy it was to set up and regret not getting one sooner.

I was so relieved when Apple brought back the original size HomePod. I didn’t trust aftermarket sights for authenticity and purchased mine from the premier store for electronics, Best Buy. The HomePod is a superior smart speaker and I use it on a daily basis. I’m considering additional purchases for other locations in my home and will likely start with two more for surround sound purposes in the living room. Thank you Apple and Best Buy!!!

So much sound in a little package. I bought two of HomePods for stereo sound and they sound louder together. I use them as my Mac computer speakers. The only issue is there is a small delay, but the Mac is able to compensate well. Overall I don’t regret buying them over other speakers for my use case.

As I read through all the glowing reviews, I felt guilty about writing a review leaving only two stars for the Apple Home Pods 2nd Generation. I generally love Apple Products. I bought an iMac this year and previously owned another Apple iMac for 10 years. I really wanted to love these. And my review is coming after a month or so of trying to correct the issues that I'm having.
The Home Pods, first of all, and according to my understanding, only work with Apple related products. But unfortunately, for my setup, they don't even work well with Apple products. I have an iMac running Ventura. They connect maybe about 40% of the time and during that 40% of time playing, there is constant loud interference, cutting out, and playing out of sync (I bought two). I have chatted with customer support and tried to make my way through chat rooms of other people having the same problems. As of yet, I'm still severely disappointed with these.
The sound is great when they work. How I wish they would run smoothly. I bought two speakers on Amazon (non-Apple related) as a stereo pair. They never cut out, make weird noises, or play out of sync. And for two of them, they were less money that one of these. The sound isn't quite as good as on these HomePod speakers, but the sound is not bad at all.

Excellent speaker, great sound output!
Simple, connection! Would obviously sound best
with 2 HomePods for best surround sound experience! Great price, quality made, definitely worth it. Only purchased one , I will buy a 2nd to pair for greater sound, will turn up the volume just to test!
I should have bought this as a pair first time I purchased online. Service at this Montclair store was
Professional , knowledgeable, very helpful!
