I've been a Mac user since the 1980's. Now retired, I use my iMac M4 for daily communications tasks, writing, games, and an excellent repository for a large and growing photography collection.

It’s everything I wanted and more!!! The ease of the setup and transferring information from our other computer was so uneventful. I didn’t need to call my daughter to help me.

Fast order, I ordered online for in store pickup and it was ready within 10 min. Fastest online in store pickup ever. Will continue to order from Best Buy. Love my computer connects with my iPhone and iPad. I can do work and send text right from my desktop..

Returned because Apple Tech was not very informed about this computer. I don’t think anything was wrong with it, worked at it very long because everything that was told to me to try. didn’t work the final thing that was told to me to try locked it up and could not be recover would not boot up at all Apple told me to return it so that is what I did

This review is for Best Buy, not the M4 iMac. This is all about my customer experience. On July 17, 2023 I submitted an online order for the M4 iMac from Best Buy. Received a conformation email for the order stating that it would be delivered on Wednesday July 23, 2025 and that a signature was required for the delivery. I made sure that I was home on July 23. Waited all day and the UPS truck stopped at my neighbors house at 4:20 PM. The UPS driver made the delivery and got back in his truck and down the block he went. You might say that I was disappointed at this moment. I went to the email and copied the UPS tracking number and checked on it. According to UPS, a label was created but not shipped. I went online to the Best Buy site and engaged in a customer chat. I initially chatted with a bot and got nowhere, Finally got a real person and explained the situation. He said to wait until the end of the day even after I explained that UPS did not have the computer. Since there was no way to resolve this through chat, I decided to go to the somewhat local Best Buy store. I stood in line at customer service and waited. Stepped up and told the story to the first person, showed the order confirmation, the UPS site stating that a label was created but they did not have possession of the computer and the printout from the chat. He couldn't help but called a manager over where I explained the issue and showed the paperwork. He couldn't help but had to go speak with other managers. He came back and stated that there was nothing that they could do and I would have to call the 888 BESTBUY number. I did this from the store. Started with an automated customer service and finally got a live person on the phone. I told him the story. Keep in mind that I am doing this just to cancel an order and get my money back to buy a Mac at the store. If that had been done, the story would have ended there. He could not do anything except escalate the issue and they would try and resolve it in 72 business hours. I explained that I am currently in the store ready to buy a computer not wanting to wait 72 hours. I was angry and left the store. The customer service rep said they would email me a transcript of the conversation (I asked for one). Friday came and went with no email or any attempt from Best Buy to contact me. Saturday came, I am not happy and decided to call Best Buy customer service number and asked for a manger. I spoke to a lady and explained the situation again. Fifth time if you are keeping score. She apologized and later in the day issued a refund. This could have been done at the store and I would have bought a computer from Best Buy that day, but I guess that was too complicated. I am typing this on an iMac, it is an awesome computer! I ordered it from Amazon and it arrived on the promised day and time. Thank you Amazon! Best Buy lost my business not because a mistake was made, but because they had no one to make it right and just made it complicated. Sorry, but will not attempt to buy anything from Best Buy again. I think soon they will join Sears, Kmart and Circuit City as memories of places that we used to shop!
