Does exactly what it's supposed to, adds the ability to use a TV or Monitor with and IOS device hard wired. Works well for what it is, it does not extend the display but mirrors it.

Have used this so many times to attach a phone to a TV to show a video to a group. Also created a slideshow with music for a presentation. So much easier than a computer when you can plug adapter into your phone. People borrow it once they see how great it is!

I had purchased one thru Amazon Bellini brand and it was horrible. It kept on stopping. The reviews mentioned the same issue. The one I bought from bestbuy Apple brand is amazing. No more issues. Super happy

I bought a similar item in Amazon for much chrsper(actually bought 2 just in case) and neither one of them worked. Plugged this one in and boom it worked the first time!

We needed an iPhone adapter so my daughter could watch Netflix on our smart TV in our camper. Worked great and she is very happy we were able to get a high quality picture on the TVs in our camper.

I was in a rush to finish a presentation n my laptop wasn’t cooperating so I just connected my iPhone to hdmi cable to Tv and it was a breeze from there. Best Buy matches prices so I got it cheaper too!

Its almost seamless how fast the connection works, you literally see on the TV everything you see on your phone. Quality is not an issue, used this on a 4k TV. Disney+ seems to not work, but otherwise great product.

It was an awesome product an it worked well for what we bought it for. My husband and I found it easy to deal with the employees. The cashier was very accommodating and very patient

If you need to connect an Iphone to any tv or HDMI connection- this is the best tool for the job. I have been able to use this to connect my iPhone to my TV and my dash in my car to be able to watch any videos, etc.

Who knew that Apple had a cable like this. With it you don’t have to have wifi, you can easily connect your phone to TV and stream everything from it. Very easy to use.

As all apple products you have to buy their brand for it to work properly and it’s a monopoly joke imo. It’s works great because it’s basically the only option you have if you want it to work at all.

I cannot complain that I can’t watch certain live TV from my phone through this device to a projector because it’s my phone. This product does however allow me to broadcast out my phone, other media and stored movies flawlessly. Idiot-proof product.

We have not had cable or internet for almost 5 years. We stream off of our phones and watch Netflix or Prime TV with this. This is our second one, they are not cheap by all means but Apple makes amazing products! If in doubt, don’t be!

Made my time on the road - in the camper -pass much more quickly! Being able to stream Hulu, HBO Max, and Netflix in my camper was a game changer. Highly worth the $40!

This product was a little confusing at first. you need an extra charging cord to make it work but once i figured it out it worked great I could watch movies from my phone to my tv. I don't really need internet at home anymore to watch tv now that I'm using my phone. A little on the expensive side but worth it

This has been working with the TV well. Youtube and Comedy Central app is mainly what I've tested it with. Sometimes the Comedy Central app fills the TV screen, sometimes it fills a portion--most of the screen. Uncertain if this is due to the app, tv, or adapter. Unplugging and replugging in seems to fix issue. Sound comes through the HDMI adapter, which is great--unlike the laptop. Saves the need to use the laptop for some video watching.

This is the original Apple one,and it works. If you get one of the knock offs on e bay or alibaba and it fries your phone, then it's your own fault. It does cost a penny (like 50,000 pennies) but when you need it, it is there. I got it because when I used all Android stuff my Chromcast would 95% of the time work with my Android phone. When I switched to iPhones, well, it does and doesn't work. I get the 'can not play to external device or not authorized to play to external device (unless it's a Apple TV or Macbook,etc)). So I got this. I can charge my iPhone or iPad AND stream the screen to a flat screen. Now it's not all the time but Tmobile let's you stream Netflix or Hulu with no data penalties, and for me I got unlimited voice/text/data (but their "unlimited" is until 21GIGAbytes in a month, then they throttle you), but for Netflix, that doesn't count. So it was worth it, and I will usage out of it over the years.
