Audio plays fine through 32 pin connector. But I had to buy an adapter to get my iPhone 5s to charge for older iPhone dock. The price is really unreasonable when you consider it won't charge the phone. It may work for newer docks, but the price is too high for a simple connector. Blame Apple, not best buy for that; they changed the connector and set the price point. They are costly everywhere. Buy local and see if it works for you, if not return it.

This was a great product to make it possible to use all of the old 30 pin chargers from older generation apple products

Wow used this to connect to my '12 Sonata factory audio cord so I could both charge and play audio with out using Bluetooth.

This was exactly what I needed in order to not have to take my life proof case off and charge it overnight on my clock radio.

This adapter worked well. I has no problems. Although my phone will not take a charge when it's plugged into the car stereo.

This is a good Apple cable and works as I expected. I only give it 4 stars because it is expensive which is typical of Apple products.
