    I was led to believe I could use my iPad 2 HDMI and other external connectors with this adapter for my new iPad Air 2. However upon attaching the HDMI cable I was informed that is it not compatible with this device. I don't know exactly what it is supposed to allow you to connect. Apple needs better documentation as to the use of this cable.
