I buy everything online. I'm a bargain hunter and I hate overpaying for anything. That being said, I wasn't comfortable paying top dollar for something that I could find cheaper, with an off brand name. I've purchased non-Apple accessories and I learned the hard way, that you get what you pay for. I purchased a 3 pack of charging cables that no longer work with my iPhone. I didn't want to risk that again. It's nice knowing that this adapter will last through any manufacturer updates. This adapter works like a charm.

I love my iPhone but I think all Apple products are over priced. That said, none of the cheap after market accessories last for more than a few days. So pay the extra money and buy OEM because even over priced it is still the best buy for your hard earned money.
