I bought this for audio connection in my car. Honestly my iPhone 4 sounded much better. But I don't see any other similar options.

I bought a Bose speaker system for my old iPod. When my wife and I bought new iPhones, she wanted to use her phone to listen to Pandora but, of course, the Bose connection was designed for the old iPod. This adapter cable let us hook up her iPhone to the Bose and she's been Pandora-ing happily ever since.

It is Apple expensive as always, but come on now, a little more cable to work with could not have been all that cost prohibitive.

Can't complain of all, needed this for my husband his car has an iPod port but has the old 30 pin connector and I needed a lighting cable adapter that fit the cars orginal old 30 pin cord with the extra cord length on this adapter it works just right. Now, music in his car for the long trip ahead. Made sure the drive was G2G, I can sleep! Awesome, buy.

Nothing special, just a replacement cable. Seems that quality is superior to the $5 ones from the other retailers.

I have an older system with a 30 pin setup. this is very good for your car stereo and other items. it does charge the unit and streams the music and/or video (depending on your system) mine is older. Excellent buy for your music and gps handfree as apps and/or will ping (if ringer is on) so you wont miss anything (drive safe).

Converts the plugs like it should. The lightning plug is a little beefy and may not fit all cases. Kinda pricey.

Adapter is used to connect my iPhone 5s portable charger to my iphone 7. The .2m cable gives me the additional length to move around the charger. I love the adapter because it gives me the ability to reuse my iphone 5s portable charger and it costs less. I will recommend it to anyone that is looking to use their 30 pin connector to the lightning connector.

Worked well as advertised, priced to high for just a short cord. Feel I paid double for the name Apple

It gets the job done in my Audi A5, but I wish it was longer.

This is the answer I was looking for. I have several music devises that work with my older Apple products. This allows the use of my new iPhone on the older products. The connection is just as good and sound is just as great. I was shocked at the price, maybe just a wee bit over priced for this product.

Good fit and works well. Wish it were a little longer though.

The legacy of 30 pin car audio, docks, and similar periphals means that some of use still need these adapters. This Apple made & marketed device works reliably and the small size of the lightining end means it works with cases that no other adapter will fit over ...

We used to have a different 30-pin to lightning adapter that we kept in the car, but it wouldn't fit in with many of the cases we used. The lightning cable end of the this cable is the same size as all of Apple's lightning cables, so it works with almost all cases that allow for those cables.

Now that the iPhones have the Lightning connector, I cannot use my iPhone 6 with the Bose device that plays music through my Wave system because it is designed for use with a 30 pin connector (I bought the Bose adapter when I had an iPhone 4). Voila - this adapter cable solves the problem! Brilliant!

This cable works great hooking my Apple iPhone SE with lighting port to an older audio system with the older style apple 30 pin. The sound and controls for the audio all work fine. Having the extra cable length over other designs allows me to hook up the phone without taking it out of it's case.

I thought it was pretty expensive for just a cable adapter.

I have a 10 year old Honda with an aftermarket hard wired connector for my 10 year old iPod. I upgraded to an IPhone 6 from a 4 and could no longer charge my phone in the car. Although way overpriced at 39.95, the adapter works fine and is easily removed to plug in my iPod or my husband's phone.

I had previously bought an adapter that was just the plug for use with my iHome clock radio. I needed a second one, and the BB employee recommended this one instead as it allows the phone/iPod/iPad to lie next to the clock radio instead of standing upright. Much better design for my intended use!

I use it daily. After some time, it'll begin to tear on the ends like most apple chargers.
