I tried to use this cable for my car charger with the Lifeproof Nuud case. The hole for the charge port only works with standard lightning charge cables. The plastic around this Lightning adapter was too big to fit inside the charge port. So I had to return the item.

I feel the price is a little high, but it's necessary in order to connect 30-pin devices.

The connect works well and seems to be fabricated well. But it's way to short to be useful.

I have a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and my radio is not fancy. I needed an adapter for my IPhone 7plus and this fixed everything. I can listen to music and see YouTube videos through my stereo. Kind of pricey, but the cheaper knockoffs on Amazon have bad reviews. So I stayed safe and bought this. No complaints.

It was good at first but it didn't last. It only lasted 6 weeks for me.

I finally upgraded from an iPhone 4s to the iPhone 6 but my Bose stereo had the built in 4s attachment so I purchased this adapter for a decent price and it works great! I actually like it a lot better because you can hold your phone to look up songs while its attached to the stereo! So much better!

Love it. Simple solution for a cord converter. Converts a cord from an iPhone 5 or older to a 6 or newer. Can also be used on iPads depending on if you have a first generation or newer. This cord also has more length. The generic one that I had previously was very short.

I have probably 10 30 pin cables. Decided to give this a try and it has worked great. Now I can use all my old 30 pin cables. It has also worked with all my Pioneer and Kenwood headunits. If you have anything 30 pin this adapter is an absolute must have. Great product and works as described.

I have an older Sony bookshelf system in my garage that has the early 30 pin iPod dock. This cable allows my iPod Nano to be used. It works perfectly unlike many of the knock-off online cables. The cable is just long enough so I can still use the Nano to select the songs.

If you have an older Bose Sounddock like I do and have upgraded your iPod or iPhone from the older 30 pin technology, this cable allows you to use a newer device with the Lightning connection. It's better than the cost to upgrade the Bose dock but not as clean and convenient. Good quality cable but pricey.

Needed this item to connect my new Iphone to a couple of docking stations that have a 30 pin connector. Tried some similar aftermarket connectors but they do not transmit audio. they come with a separate audio connector. This Apple branded adapter does transmit audio. Took off one star due to the price!!

This is the 30-pin to lightning cable that I needed. The Otter case I use to protect my iPod is too large to let the smaller 30-pin-to-lightning cable fit in. So this one, with some cord space between the ends, allows the plug to fit in.

My older car has a 30 pin connecter interface. The first adapter I bought would not work when the phone is in its case (as it is most of the time). This one solves that problem. If I had known about this one the first time around, I would not have bought the other one,

This cord works great for plugging lightning cord devices to 30-pin accessories. No problem using it while my phone is in the case because it fits my phone just like a regular lightning cord. No problem with connectivity. The only thing that would make it five stars is if the cord were longer.

This genuine Apple cord is worth it over the knock offs. It allows charging AND data passage. All the knock offs ive tried would only charge my phone. This one lets me convert my iPhone 8+to work with my car and show playlist info and keep my cars steering wheel control.

I upgraded my phone and wanted to still use as a second charge station, my charge cord from my old iphone. This works perfectly and better than the regular adapter. It has a small cord extending from adapter to allow use with the protective cases sold for the iphone.

This is a very good and reliable product. I've try buying third party adapters from the likes of Amazon/EBay and none of them worked properly. I'm now able to listen music on my iPhone 6s in the car without any problems. The quality of the product is also amazing.

My car doesnt support Apple Play natively, so I needed a 30-pin adapter to connect my phone to the cars audio system. This did the job and now I can listen to my tunes and podcasts in my older car.

I have an iPhone dock mounted in my car that provides both power and a radio interface to my car stereo. Rather than throw that all out, when I upgraded from the iPhone 4S to the 5S, this cable did the trick nicely! Phone charges, music plays, and controls all work the same. Yay!
