I purchased a vehicle that had a iPod kit with a 30 pin adpter installed. Although I have a classic iPod, I wanted to use my iPhone 7 as well. Not to worry, I discovered that Apple makes this adapter. I only wish it were longer.

My late model Benz has a 30 pin to the stereo AUX function. This adapter works great, bringing us in the current iPhone world with lighting cable. Doesn't charge the phone when playing, but the music sounds great!

I had a radio that was used for an iPhone 4s. After purchasing an iPhone 6 I need an adapter to be able to connect the iPhone 6 to the radio. The only thing I would want is for the cable to be longer. It is too short to be practical for what I wanted.

Got this to go with the iPhone dock so I could listen to songs from my phone through our stereo system. I'm able to keep the otter box case on my phone while using the cord since they now have made the 30 pin adapter end smaller.

Adapter works great & doesn't affect sound quality. Lengthens the connector to attach phone to car stereo so that's a big plus. Hopefully it doesn't fall apart like most usb cables do. Haven't had it long enough to know. So 5 stars until then....

I needed this cord to help extend the life of my speaker system that I connect my phone to. I upgraded to the new I-phone 6 & did not have the $$ to purchase a new speaker system--if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Works well for music but wish it would charge iPod too.

I use this cable in my car to connect my iPhone 5 to the built in iPod features. It works perfect. It allows for analog out audio while a also allowing for the iPhone 5 to charge. I have no complaints what so ever. Great for my needed application.

We had gotten the transfer adapters to copy pictures from camera (USB connector and memory card) which worked very good with the old iPad 2 and iPad 3 connector. This enables us to use the connector with the newer lightning plug connection to newer iPads.

This is a great alternative to the "stubby" adapter that I have used in the past. It will allow you to keep the iOS device in its case when used. Works well with car systems as well since audio pass through works. Many adapters are power only.

Bought this to solve connection problem with my bmw which has cables for 32 pin but now adaptor that will allow I drive to control my phone. This worked as a straight extentiom of the iPhone four cable. And allowed it to work with my life proof case and it's deep socket

good for using old iPhone 4s chargers for iPhone 5s.

Works great on the audio MMI for playing your iPod or iPhone music liabrary. I've bought to many cheaper non apple products that just don't last. Do yourself a favor and buy the real thing. I highly recomend this product.

It allows my wife to us her iphone 6 with her stereo in her car that has as 30 pin connector. It does not charge the phone, you do need an additional converter for that.

I already had an adapter that has no cord for attaching my iPhone to my Bose SoundDock. However with this connector I attach my IPad to my SoundDock with no worry or concern about damaging the connector. Great!!!

I had a couple of sound systems that had the 30 pin connector, and my old Ipods had died from battery problems. This plug allowed me to use my new iPod and my new phone. The plug works great, gave me several new sound systems to use.

I am unable to use my iPod touch to listen to my Sirius XM app due to the iPod touch unable to update the Sirius XM app, so this adapter helped me get the right adapter to play my iPhone on my Bose speaker.

I purchased this converter because my auto charge for my iPhone has the old style connection. I lie the pedestal and charger, so I did not want to replace it. The simple solution was to buy an adapter to work on my new iPhone 5s.

The adaptor is about 4 inches long, and it's too fat to fit in my Lifeproof case. If it were longer and/or had a normal sized head on the Lightning pin side, it would be great. As it is, it's completely useless to me unless I buy a different phone case.

I have an aftermarket ipod adaptor that is directly installed to the headunit of my 2006 Honda Accord. It has a 30 pin adaptor but my old iPhone has a lightening and this cord works excellently. Love it!
