This is an entry-level Mac. If you're looking for performance, go for i5 or better yet the i7 versions. This is a well-rounded system that will allow the use of your favorite keyboard, mouse, and monitor. I suggest an E-GPU for and heavy video processing, It's basically a laptop you can use on your 4k TV, without the secondary screen. It comes with Apple tv, which makes it a great option for my media center.

I bought mine about four weeks before the 2020 refresh, but all that brought was more storage to the base model (128gb -> 256gb). Considering my main storage (photo, video, and music libraries) are on external drives this is not an issue for me. I appreciate that you can still upgrade the RAM on this model by yourself. All in all I’ve been happy with this addition. I mainly use this Mac as my entertainment hub to host my downloaded media or to broadcast Netflix party streams to my AppleTV 4K.

I finally switched to Mac and glad I did. I love everything about the mini.Especially the size. The learning curve for a P.C. user is minimal and should not be feared. I am not a tech guy and had no trouble setting it up and using it.

Purchased this to have a Mac in the house to compliment iPad Pro 11 and iPhones in the family. Does everything I need and runs the latest OS with speed for my limited use. However it could do much more if you are needing a general purpose Mac. Very happy I purchased this mini.

I purchased the Mac mini to use as a computer solution at our church. We use it for presentation software and streaming. The low profile of the computer was perfect for our space, and gives more than enough computer power and processing to run our presentations.

After using a 2009 iMac for the last ten years, this is definitely an upgrade in terms of speed and power

I have bought many computers over the years and this one was the easiest on to set up. I'm not the large program user I used to be and this MAC is just what I needed. I did add an external 1TB hard drive and I'm sure this set up will fill my needs for years.

My wife is predominantly a PC user and wanted to delve into the world of OSX and Xcode. This is a nice little starter machine for her. I got a deal on open box so I feel like my purchase was a good value as personally I prefer OSX over Windows, but at regular price I would have felt differently. Best Buy open box are really the best deals for buying Apple products and they've always been great about returns.

We got this for our kids who are 5,7 and 9 years old. We use it for typing, and video editing for school projects. The hard drive space is small, but we have an external hard drive attached to it that we use for storage. Definitely does the job.

This is not an average review for Best Buy as they did a fantastic job as usual. I am a long time Mac user and this Mac mini has been bugging out since day one. I spent a lot of time with Apple on help chat and phone calls and they got most of the issues sorted out for me except the fact that anything that uses Bluetooth will NOT stay connected. My new Magic Mouse, my keyboard, my speakers, nothing. The Magic Mouse will connect and disconnect at least a dozen times in an eight hour day. I now keep the keyboard plugged in with no issues and listen to music via the bluetooth on my iPhone. I left feedback on Apple's website but have not had any luck trying any of their fixes. I have owned no less than a half of dozen iMac's, MacBook air's, etc. and never had this issue before.

This is the third Mac Mini I've purchased and it is great to use. My old one was outdated so I got this one new and it works fine. I already have the monitor and keyboard so all set to use. I love the size of this model as it fits easily on my computer desk.

The mini mac would not boot not because there was something wrong, I order another mini mac from amazon had the same problem, I found out on my own that the wireless keyboard and track pad would not connect to the mac because of bluetooth.

Installing this new Mac mini--which took about 24 seconds--immediately resolved any problems I was having accessing various sites and sending and receiving e-mail. It's not exactly cheap, but I think it's worth every penny.

I was a little skeptical about how powerful an intel core i3 processor could be and why apple didn’t just make these with the intel i5 as the base, but I’m impressed with how well this mini performs with all tasks with this latest gen i3 processor.

Mac goodness at a reasonable price. Like that I have the flexibility to configure my own monitors rather than being locked in to Apple's display size. Perfect for my home office.

Bought this instead of the iMac -- thought I would try another monitor, but I really like Apple products. Works excellent with the monitor and easy to use - works right out of the box just like most of Apple products. No complaints so far...

Great machine, very fast! Open box was a good deal! I would definitely consider buying open box again, as there is significant savings. It was nice that I was able to upgrade my own memory.com

I am upgrading to this from an iMac. I must say this little guy is a beast I love the thunderbolt ports and expandabilty of it. Also it’s a vast improvement over the previous Mac Mini

I love how easy and straightforward apple products are. This Mini is no different. Easy set up and start using it. I don't buy computers to play games so I can't speak to that but if you need to get work done. It's great.
