This mac mini is slow by today's standards. The 1.4ghz processor is pretty much only good for web browsing and tasks that don't require too much heavy lifting. I tend to use this computer as a media management tool-- if I plan on transferring large batches of files, I will have them run on this computer as I use my primary computer(s).

really good, quiet desktop! Lots of ports and functionality for the price. All my windows peripherals work with it. and quiet The mini is a very small footprint. I wish I could add memory, but it's ok. Not quite as speedy as I thought it would be! Best part was Geek Squad which helped with the set up transition when I had a problem with my old monitor switchover.

Small and compact, easy to set up, good for small areas, great buy.

I purchased this item with the intent to use it as a personal home computer to to my daily tasks, check e-mail and let my son play a few games online. The only issue I have noted is that the processor tends to bog down a little ( computer freeze ) when my son tries to play some games. This is defiantly not a gamers computer but will fulfill your needs for daily tasks.

Highly recommend this Apple product, as always preferring windows computers, apple now is my preference.

Got it for my daughter for school and she really love it. She can google anything and do her school project

I bought this Mac Mini for an HTPC Kodi front end. Works great. Stable. And best of all, it's not Windows.

The Mac Mini was relatively easy to set up and is fairly intuitive to use but some seemingly simple things are missing. Like the lack of a printer icon on a lot of programs. And not nearly the App selection available on Ipad & IPhone, that was kind of surprising. I am still learning so I will probably make new discoveries both good and not so good.

I am a big mac user. I was looking for a newer Mini for our second home. These units are great to hook up to a HDTV so all you need is a keyboard and mouse to go with it. Overall the machine is nice, but it is slow. Could use more memory and bigger hard drive.

I have used a Macbook Pro for a number of years. As such, after 6 years it was slowing down a bit, I assume from excessive use. At the same time I decided that instead of investing in another laptop, but still wanting something fairly portable I would look at the Mac mini. I'm glad I did. It offers the same specs as my Macbook and is portable. It's a win win.
