The keys were very worn on the keyboard and the battery holds less than 75% full charge of the design capacity with over 750 charging cycles. It says “service battery”. I would think when the item is “refurbished” the battery would’ve been changed. Will be returning it and won’t buy “refurbished” from Best Buy again. It was more like a “used” MacBook that had tons of use.

I'm typically not into writing reviews but this purchase was terrible. I do not recommend buying a renewed item. It comes from a company called JemJem. They also sell on Amazon. It looks like from what I've read it is a bunch of mixed reviews. You either hit the jackpot with your purchase or it is god awful. Let's focus on the purchase itself. The item which is 800 dollars was shipped in a box with a single layer of bubble wrap where the power brick, the cable and the cord was all loose. It was shipped UPS ground from California to the East coast city of Boston! The box itself was dented, crushed, it was filmsy. I'm amazed it got to point B. The charging brick was dirty and appeared heavily worn. The laptop itself had a dent on the bottom of the case, corners were chipped/dented in. There is al a lot of filth that stuck to the screen which is likely from the keyboard. The keys on the keyboard was heavily worn and also had food material stuck to it. I thought to myself, let me check it out anyways. Well, it didn't even turn on!!! I left it on the charger for about 30 minutes. NOTHING!. I definitely picked the "jem" of the crop. I immediately started a return of the item. You get a way better quality from Open Box items.

I was as very Excited to get this computer and had a lot of options that I was looking for… However it did not tell me what years produced and that I could not really update it very much from where it was already. I was able to buy a brand new one for $200 more.

It isn’t the easiest at first, even if you are used to using Mac and iPhone but eventually we were able to get it to a place where it was easy to navigate and has everything in it we need. I love it now but it was a learning curve.

It’s sleek design it’s fast and light so easy to transport and everyday I find something in it to make my life easier and more efficient. It’s simply brilliant!

Light and works good. I do miss the ports on the side. Just 1 port for charging and headphone jack

The guy I spoke too didn’t know anything about the year, he lied to me saying it was 2017 but it was 2015, and the other thing geek squad doesn’t know anything. Don’t go through them for anything apple. They can’t fix it there so why do they sell apple products? Over all other people at the Best Buy’s were good, but some people just don’t know anything and you end up knowing more then the the “geek” squad.

Got this refurbished! I was definitely not disappointed! Great price!

I was unsure whether this was a 2015 or 2016 model. Description could of been clearer. Item arrived as described. Great condition.

Great computer. I love it and have a lot of people commenting on what a great computer it is. The only thing that I do not like is that the charging port is the same port that I use when using a projector so the computer cannot be charged during a presentation but other than that I couldn't be happier with the computer.
