First time Mac user and Love it. Easy to use, light weight and perfect for my needs

Needed a top quality laptop, as my last one was a disappointment. Apple never disappoints. So happy with the processor speed and the ease of use with this product. Wish the USB port still came installed with the device. But I can live with that.

I switched from my trusted Windows laptop to a MacBook Pro after my old laptop started to fall apart. I switched to a Mac because I take notes during class on my iPad with Apple Pencil and GoodNotes, and I couldn’t access them easily on Windows. I find my MacBook extremely useful. Don’t listen to those who say that the touch bar is overrated. I did not buy this for the touch bar. I just wanted one with good specs and it happened to have the touch bar. As someone who has to look at the keyboard to type, I use the touch bar frequently, especially while typing papers- it’s almost like having the “bold”,”italics”, etc. options right on the keyboard. Apple doesn’t have as much bloatware as Windows and most apps are optimized for the Macbook’s Specs. That’s probably why a Windows laptop with equal (or better) specs isn’t as powerful as the MacBook Pro.

The Mac book pro is a great laptop computer! It is fast and user friendly.

When my previous laptop was on the brink of crashing, I wanted to get a new laptop before it was completely broken. I previously had an HP, but wanted to switch to Mac. At first it was difficult to operate, but since I have gotten used to the Mac, I love it! It is easy to work, and it was very easy to transfer files from my old laptop! I would definitely recommend!

Light enough to carry in my backpack all over campus and the battery life to survive my long days between work and classes without a charge. Over the past two-going-on-three years this laptop has gotten me through the majority of my college career with flying colors! I am constantly having multiple programs with a handful of tabs open on each running and this mac doesn't bat an eyelash at it. My Samsung chromebook croaked midway through my freshman year and this was a very welcome upgrade. If you are going to have it in your backpack on a daily basis though it's well worth investing in a case for it. Apple has officially sucked another student into their ecosystem with this mac :)

I recently purchased my first MacBook. I was very hesitant at first because I have always had Samsung or Windows products but the gentleman who helped me that day was very informative and helpful. He even allowed me to place my laptop on hold for a few days so that way I could take the time to think about the purchase. I was very satisfied when I did finally decide to buy it and take it home. It was very easy to get started with the laptop. The setup was very easy and I immediately got the hang of the Touch Bar. What was very cool, was that all along the way, the Mac continued to give me tutorials if I wanted them or show me how to customize the laptop to my liking. I look forward to learning how to make this computer even better for me, and make it work for my life and my career!!!

We chose MacBook Pro because that was what my daughter was used to. We are so happy with our purchase. It's easy to navigate, it's fast, and light weight so when going from class to class it doesn't weigh down her backpack.

So fast and lightweight. Does what we need for design and photos.

I had the Air, which is 3lbs and splurged for the Pro, with 15” and over $2,000. Returned it due to being big and heavy. Spent less and got everything I wanted, touch bar, fast, light and just the right size screen. Love it.

It is light, fast, slim and has a very crisp screen resolution.

My favorite macbook as of yet. It’s processor is so fast. Ease of use. Such a beautiful design as well. I love the Touch Bar. It adds such a great “extra” to the laptop!

So this was the first laptop I have ever bought/owned. I’ve had it for almost 2 years now, and since then I’ve done so much with it. I use it for making/recording music with GarageBand (an Apple app that comes with the laptop, super handy for music lovers), editing videos for YouTube and other sources, and of course just normal user stuff (browsing, storing/downloading data and materials). I love the screen, it’s the perfect size. The fingerprint sensor add-on comes in handy all the time. But my favorite part, is the touch-bar along the top of the keyboard. It changes depending on what app, or program you may be in, but it is super handy and probably the neatest thing I’ve ever seen in a laptop!

Overall picture is wonderful and size is okay rather than big bulky laptops. Love the updated function bar! Just don’t like that there are no USB ports without purchasing an attachment device.

Touch bar is a must! Such a sleek design and works perfectly.
