I am happy with this purchase , It was bought for homeschooling my son and it is doing everything he needs it to do, I see it being all he will need in the future. We both love the navigation bar at the top, It makes things easy and convenient. The finger print Touch ID reader is also a feature we both like.

I like it, I use it mainly for developing apple ( IOS, OX, TV, etc. ) tools, software, and applications ( which you can do only on a mac ). I got the touch bar version and I'm happy I did, 1st because I can develop tools for that as well, and, 2nd because it's very useful! ) CONs: 1. It takes a while to get used to the touch bar ( I still hit the esc or back button on the touch bar by mistake when browsing which is, very, very very, annoying! but I'm getting better at it ) 2. The USB-C phenomena! the fact that even all the other (newly released) apple products do not support it is really ridiculous! so to connect my iphone X I'd need a convertor! Over all, recomended

Love the keyboard, the Touch Bar which I didn't think I would. I love the thinness of the computer which helps it be extra portable. Its also quick and runs larger apps with no problem.

So to begin I was able to purchase a new computer with left over scholarship money so I swear I researched for a good month on what I was going to buy. Ive been a PC guy forever and I have been and iPhone guy since the iPhone 4 so I was use to the apple lifestyle but I was not fully into the Apple Ecosystem. But enough of the back story and to the point of why your reading this. I decided to take the leap and purchase a MAC and man do I love it. The speed is crazy fast never have I had this speed on a PC and from a i5 at that. I have the bad habit of always over specing so I was concerned buying a base model. But that was no problem as I have no issues with speed period. I watched a few Youtube videos on how to learn the Mac OS and I had it figured out in roughly a weekend but nothing to difficult that a youtube video couldn't solve. Now that I'm deep in the ecosystem with the iPhone 8, Series 3 watch and this Mac it is amazing. They all work well together and wearing the watch to unlock the computer is awesome in itself. So if your already and apple person and in need of a new computer DO IT you'll love it. Granted I'm no "power" user but I do a wide range of tasks without issues! Sorry for the long winded review but I just love the switch I made and wonder why I didn't do it sooner!

Love this Mac. Replaced 11' MacBook Pro and found that this one is much quicker, better battery life and louder speakers. I wasn't too sure about the touch bar, but now I love it!

I had to replace my old laptop because of liquid damage. I came from a MacBook so of course I invested in another. The processor is faster than my previous, the track pad is smooth. The graphics are amazing on this thing. And of course I got this model because of the Touch Bar; which I’m still getting used to after two years lol. It’s great for students, entrepreneurs or anyone who just wants a computer that will last for a long time. My old computer I had for 7 years before I bought this one. I’ve never had a virus on either of my MacBook

I love this model and for a few bucks more I was able to get twice the storage. However the same issues with word apply to this model. I am not sure if there something has to be done for the track pad to work properly with word but so far its like working in word when it first came out.

I've always wanted an MacBook, but just went for an iPad instead; now that I have switched over, its amazing. I love how everything looks, love the touch bar which makes things incredibly easy, and would definitely recommend to my family and friends. Definitely worth the price.

Love my new mac, but it is REALLY annoying that there are NO standard USB ports - just 4 mini ports, one of which is used for charging. So I have to carry around a dongle thing that will allow me to connect a USB memory stick or other plug in device, otherwise I'm buggered.

Replaced our old MacBook and there is a noticeable difference in weight and thickness. New one is lighter and thinner. Superfast charge, and it lasts a lot longer than our old Mac. Don't like that it has no USB ports or CD/DVD drive. All other features seem to be capable with our old MAC. We have had it almost 3 months.

Been an HP user for the last 25+ years, but decided to try the Mac after the Best Buy salesperson helped us. Takes a little getting used to, but so far is great. The only issue we have right now is getting all our pictures saved on our WB USB device to work w/ the Mac.

Good product, I've only had it a couple months, but so far it works alright. The fingerprint security feature is awesome and convenient. Operating system has updated once since purchase and I've only had one glitch with the headphone jack (thinking it was receiving input rather than playing to a plugged in speaker). Ocassionally the screen flashes weirdly, so I hope it doesn't become a future problem. Charges fast, stays full long...pretty much works as typical for MacBook Pro's.

Love how its easy as 123 to be fully personalized to look exactly like old Air. It's fast and no worries!

My wife bought this to upgrade her 2010 MAC and she loves it... it is light, the screen is great. the bad part on new MACS are that you cannot upgrade memory and hard drives, it only comes with OSB-C ports so you have to buy a HUB to connect SD cards, USB 2.0 ports, etc.... and the price

I love this MAC Laptop, I have both windows 10 HP laptop and this MAC Pro. The Mac outperforms the HP Spectre 360 in every way and it is much more secure! Great with movies movie editing and everyday Financial and social life!

This laptop is fast and easy to use. Bought it on sale price. It has enough memory and longer battery life.

Apple's line of laptops just keeps getting better. I was initially concerned that 8GB memory would not be enough, but with the speed of the flash storage in this laptop, it is far more than what I need.

My first Mac after 30 years of Windows. It was very easy to transition. Learn a few gestures and I was off and running. I wondered about the touch bar vs touch screen, The combo of the touch pad and touch bar makes for a very efficient user experience. The touchbar changes to present the keys you need instead of a messy fingerprint smeared screen. Best of all is the finger print scanner for fast log on. Which is almost instant with the SSD drive.

I bought this to replace my aging MacBook laptop, and it has performed above and beyond my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised at how much lighter it is which makes it that much more usable for taking to various meetings, and on trips. My previous laptop was well over 10 years old and still running the latest Mac OS but it had become quite a bit slower. This one is fast and smooth and the SSD hard drive makes it that much faster.
