After using the new MacBook Pro M4 Pro for several weeks, I can confidently say that it has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Performance The M4 Pro chip has significantly improved the speed and efficiency of my workflow. Whether I’m compiling large codebases or running complex software environments, the laptop handles it all without breaking a sweat. Tasks that previously caused my old machine to lag are now completed with ease. I noticed the seamless multitasking capabilities as well—switching between multiple applications and tabs doesn't slow it down, even under a heavy load. Battery Life As someone who spends a lot of time on the go, battery life is always a concern. The MacBook Pro M4 Pro has been an absolute game-changer in this department. Even during long workdays, with continuous coding, running tests, and handling virtual environments, I can easily get through a full 8-hour day without needing to plug in. This is a huge improvement compared to my previous laptop. I recently upgraded to the 14-inch MacBook Pro with the new M4 Pro chip (in stunning Space Black) from my older M1 MacBook Pro via Best Buy’s trade-in program, and the experience has been phenomenal. Design and Aesthetics: The Space Black finish is an absolute showstopper. It gives the laptop a sleek, modern look that sets it apart from the classic silver or space gray models. The 14-inch form factor hits the sweet spot for portability and screen real estate—I can comfortably work on the go without feeling cramped. Performance: Coming from the M1 chip, I can definitely notice the power boost. The M4 Pro handles demanding tasks like video editing and 3D rendering with ease. Apps load almost instantly, and multitasking feels fluid thanks to the 24GB of memory. Running multiple creative applications simultaneously (Photoshop, Final Cut, multiple Chrome tabs) has not slowed this machine down at all. Battery Life: The battery life has pleasantly surprised me. Despite the increased performance, I’m still able to get through a full workday without scrambling for a charger. Apple’s efficiency gains in these newer chips really shine here. Display: The 14-inch Liquid Retina XDR display is spectacular—bright, crisp, and color-accurate. Whether I’m editing photos or streaming my favorite shows, the visuals look vibrant and lifelike. Keyboard and Trackpad: The keyboard remains comfortable and responsive, with decent key travel. The trackpad is large and incredibly precise, making gestures seamless. Trade-In Experience: I was initially hesitant about trading in my M1 MacBook Pro, but Best Buy made the process hassle-free. They evaluated my device quickly, gave me a fair credit, and I put that directly toward this upgrade. Overall Verdict: If you’re on the fence about upgrading from M1 to the latest M4 Pro, this new MacBook Pro is well worth the investment—especially if you can trade in your old machine for credit. The performance boost, stellar display, battery efficiency, and sleek Space Black design all come together to offer one of the best laptop experiences on the market. I’m thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a powerful, future-proof MacBook that’s a step up from previous generations.

The new MacBook, it looks the same as old one! But trust me guys m3 pro is no where near I’m glad I upgraded! 8gb more apple ram! I could run parallels and play windows games like gta 5 without any lag. Gets an upgraded camera from the iPad Pro! Thunderbolt 5! For my usage I get around 3-4 days of battery life! IMO ITS THE PERFORMER OF THE YEAR PRODUCT FROM APPLE THIS YEAR! Look at the pic 2 ( last charged was on December 6th till 100 and now it’s December 8th and still has 55)

I run Logic and DAVINCI Studio in Tandem and the M4 PRO doesn’t miss a beat. This is a fast and powerful Laptop.

Loved the 2024 MacBook Pro, fast, battery last a long time, beautiful design. Having the HDMI entrance on the laptop was a huge plus!

We use the Apple Ecosystem to do assist us with our job. This Macbook (although pricey) does an incredible job of doing video editing, coding, wiring diagrams and 3D models, and it seamlessly integrates with our ipads and iphones. Pictures on the go? No problem. It’s obviously NOT a good laptop for an average person, as it’s far past overkill. Get the computer that fits your needs, budget included.

I’m really enjoying this laptop! Works great with my iPhone and Apple Watch. It’s user friendly and download and uploads fast. Planning on doing video editing for my business and I believe it’ll be a smooth process with this MacBook.

I absolutely love my new MacBook Pro! I purchased this Mac because it was time for an upgrade, I previously owned the M1(2020) model and had been eyeing this new M4 for a good minute. I was hesitant to do a trade in because I usually would get low balled on the value ,but BESTBUY made it so easy and painless to do everything all at once and I got a really good trade in value minus $100 because I ended up keeping the old power supply cord, as I could use it to charge up my iPhone quickly. lol ok back to my new purchase….. I’ve been using my new M4 for about 2 months now and I’m so thrilled with its performance and capabilities. It’s so smooth and wonderful on all aspects. Besides the obvious aesthetics of this machine, the insides are just as magnificent. Thank you Apple and thank you Bestbuy. You truly have outdone yourselves.

I love my new MacBook. It is easy to type on and so fast! I love how big the display is on it as well. I have always had 13" screens and 1" bigger screen makes such a difference.

I love it! Bought it for college next fall so I could learn to use it and it seems to be the best time to buy and it’s actually the perfect laptop. The battery lasts forever and there’s no lag.
