    I'll never buy anything other than a Mac. My previous computer was the MacBook Air, this time going for the MacBook PRO. The only reason I'm replacing the MacBook Air after 7 years is it needs to be plugged in to use it, so plan on taking better care of this battery. This should last me for years.. I love the fingertip key to unlock it...

    Sleek design, keyboard flat enough to allow for easy typing if you have nails. Still does the weird sleep thing where if you close it without shutting it down and open it the next day the keyboard lights up but screen stays dark so you have to restart anyway.

    This was my first time owning a MacBook and also 7 years since I had a decent computer so I was easily impressed. However there is a learning curve from switching from Windows, it’s actually been difficult to configure, but for general things like browsing, it’s really been solid. I wish it came with Microsoft Word! And also the 14” feels small, good for folks who travel a lot and who don’t need a big screen. But for things like watching films or photo/video editing — definitely get a bigger screen! Battery is average, video quality is great. They do need to add a privacy cover for the webcam. Overall I can’t complain as I got a nice deal during Black Friday.

    I enjoyed the compatibility with my iPhone. The MacBook had a ton of customization that you could choose you personalize your Mac which was really nice.
