I received this preowned 15 inch Macbook pro in excellent condition and it works perfectly.

This was a poor experience to say the least. a 6 year old MBP for over $1k should gleam out of the box, nope shuts down randomly. Another bestbuy customer had the same issue in fact multiple ppl had the same problem JemJem makes sure the keys work and not much else this is why Amazon is top dog.. also Bby did not mention the package had to be signed for by a 21 Yo so my 17yo daughter could not sign that was not mentioned until the 1st delivery attempt had failed. Thank for selling me crap!

The condition that it was in were not worth the price tag of almost $1k! Everything was unoriginal from the box to the packaging and so forth. I returned it the very next day!

This lap top had some many problems I can’t even list them all. It turns out Best Buy doesn’t do the refurbishment and doesn’t even test them. So chances of getting something that works are slim at best

Don’t buy preowned better to buy new. My daughter wanted this for a graduation gift & it was acting up 30 days after receiving it. Anything electronic buy NEW!

Buyer Beware: Best Buy’s preowned MacBook’s are very much so “hit or miss.” I first purchased a preowned, mid-2012 MacBook Pro from Best Buy and when it arrived I was extremely disappointed. The exterior had visible scuffs and scratches, some of the keys were broken, and the battery said “Replace Now.” I returned the MacBook at my local Best Buy store the very next day. I decided to give Best Buy’s preowned MacBooks another try because I knew that some people had good experiences with them. This time around, I decided to purchase the mid-2014 MacBook Pro (this model). It was only $50 more than what I had paid for the mid-2012 model. When the mid-2014 MacBook Pro arrived, I was literally shocked by how clean and new it looked. There was only one tiny scratch on the exterior, which is thankfully in a very inconspicuous place. The scratch is also the same color as the exterior so it blends in and is barely noticeable (you have to look very, very closely to see it). Also, all the keys function properly, the speakers sound amazing, and the battery condition says “Normal.” Compared to my experience with the other MacBook Pro, this one actually looks and feels practically brand new. Whoever previously owned it clearly took very good care of it. If you are considering buying a preowned MacBook from Best Buy, please be aware that these machines are preowned and their condition can range from “Very Poor” to “Like New” based upon how well the previous owner took care of it (or didn’t take care of it). These MacBooks do not appear to be refurbished. There are, however, refurbished ones for sale elsewhere on Best Buy’s website. You might have to look at a couple of preowned MacBooks before you find the one that meets your standards. But there are some good ones out there for a reasonable price if you’re willing to give them a try. I was very pleased with the quality of what I received the second time around. This MacBook Pro is in excellent condition and runs like it is brand new (no lag at all). The only negative is the tiny scratch that really isn’t a big deal to me because no one can see it unless they put their face right up to my MacBook, which I don’t see being a likely scenario.
