This was exactly what I needed. Works great and continue to use it today

I use this on both a TV monitor and computer monitor. The picture is great and the reliability of the product is spot on. My only issue is with the screws. The VGA cable needs to have very long threads in order for the adapter to thread in.

I usually buy generic, however in this case the Apple - Mini Display Port to VGA Adapter is a better deal. I no longer have the connectivity issue I had in the the classroom with the generic.

What can you say about this. If you need to get to a projector or TV with a VGA input, you need this. In keeping your Mac versatile, Apple has decided to use Thunderbolt ports and offer adapters that fit just about anything you would ever want to hook to your computer. I have one application that uses 3 separate video feeds. No problem, just plug 'em in and turn on the projectors. Yes, like all Apple products, setup is that simple: Plug it in - it works!

this Apple adapter works well for those projectors that still have a VGA port. It is a specific Mac output adapter, which if you need it, you must get this exact configuration.

Nice to know that you can use a monitor from an Intel PC/Laptop with a Mac. For the price of an inexpensive adapter, you can use an existing monitor when you switch from Intel to Mac
