This device did exactly what I needed it to do. It was the easiest set up ever.

No Troubles form this product so far. I am able to run another monitor on my Mac.

We used this adapter especially for projector uses and does the trick well.

This item was just what I was looking for to connect my laptop to a projector.

It's a dongle. I could spend time discussing why Apple makes dongles a flat out requirement for effective ownership of their products, but instead I'll just say it does what it's supposed to and my co-workers routinely attempt to steal it.

No need to buy a new cable. Reuse your existing VGA cable with this adapter.

This is the second one of these I had to purchase. I sold the first one with my older MBP non retina, and have since transitioned to using a Mac full time for work. This is a must have if your company doesn't utilize Apple TV for presentations.

I travel and give lectures on occasion for work. I prepare my power points on a MAC, but most facilities are set to run PC's and most projectors are either VGA or a few HDMI. This works only for VGA connection from you MAC but does work well.

It is great for presentation and for watching shows on your TV.
