Upgraded my bedroom tv so I was converting the old one to an external monitor and needed ability to connect my MacBook. Mini DisplayPort to VGA connection works as it should and connection/setup was very simple.

I needed an adapter to hook my Mac Book into a cable to use a projector at as recent event. I went to Best Buy and the sales person recommended this adapter and it worked like a charm.

The product worked fine; connecting my monitor to my MacBook Pro. My only problem with it is that the adapter is loose so my VGA cable can easily fall off.

I own a MacBook Air, which doesn't come with an HDMI out, so I used to use Airplay with my Apple TV when I would stream from my laptop to my TV. The connection was not as reliable as I'd hoped so I bought the adapter and it works exactly as advertised: Thunderbolt to HDMI. The connection is much more reliable and the wires seem reliable after consistent use for about a year.

No complaints works well. We use this in the class room.

I did not want to cheap out and buy an aftermarket adapter to connect to my $2000 15 inch MBPr. I can be assured this will not cause any problems with my hardware investment.

This is an adaptor that everyone with an Apple laptop MUST have! That is, if you ever need to project your work using a video projector. I won’t go anywhere without it, just in case.
