Very simple plug and play with laptop to projector

I teach chemistry and being able to show my simulations is critical. Now that I can connect to my LCD projector, my job is so much easier!!

Need to make sure you are getting the right part for your Apple. Maybe helpful to take a photo of your port or model and year of your Apple. If it is the right part it works great but not as straight forward as to knowing if this will work with your Apple that maybe older.

If you have an apple product, this is what you need to quickly and easily connect and disconnect your external monitors. I have 32 screens in my company with apple computers and this is a must.

Better to be prepare than to be sorrow... If you are a Mac user and have to do presentations for school, work or what so ever.. this is must to connect you Mac To a projector

The product is small and compact. It attaches easily to my cord.

Apple has designed their laptops to show nothing if any adapter but their own name brand adapter is used in a thunderbolt or HDMI output. This adapter will solve the problem, and works well.

I purchased the Apple - Mini Displayport To Vga Adapter - White, so I could use my Dell monitor with my Mac Mini. I considered an off brand, but a friend told me that using the Apple adapter is wiser because—though the other brands will adapt (the job they were made for)—they go bad rather quickly. Because of this, I would recommend the Apple adapter over something cheaper. The difference in price at Best Buy is five dollars, and it was in stock at my local store. This adapter adapts. All is well in the monitor department of my office. (Still looking for special characters in Pages. If you know where to find – and — and all of their friends, please let me know.)

Needed a adaptor quickly bc I was in a bind and I picked this up at my local bestbuy and it worked great. It had amazing quality and worked exactly how it was intended.

This did the trick. Using a genuine Apple adapter to connect my screen and Mac mini solved my problem. Other brands were not able to successfully make the connection.

recently upgraded my macbook pro to the 13" retina. having had the 15" previous, an external monitor was a must for work. the adapter works as advertised, exactly as the previous adapter worked on the 15" MBP.

Weeks ago I bought a cheaper version of this adapter but it only lasted a couple of days. I am now going for the real thing. I know it is a little more expensive, but I know it will work consistently.

Great resource when connecting to VGA. Although I did not use it too frequently it has been reliable for years. Very satisfied customer.

I do speaking engagements and the worst thing is to show up with my MacBook Air and I can not use their system to show my power point. This has been very helpful.

I purchased this adapter assuming it for one purpose, to use my ten year-old Dell external monitor which I had lying around as a secondary display. It works just as it should, giving an extra desktop to my 2012 13" MacBook Pro and works flawlessly. The extra perks of it being able to scale applications to take full advantage of the size of the external display is a plus, as well as your ability to close the laptop lid (assuming it is connected to power and you have an external keyboard and mouse) and the computer will still function, yet in a more desktop-like fashion. Overall, this adapter speaks for itself and the price really does indeed justify the functionality.

Apple products need specific resources Chris one does what it is supposed to do. My Epson projector is older but this allows it to connect the computer

Adapters are a necessary evil when working in a group of people with different preferences in computers. This adapter connected as it said it would. What more can you ask of an adapter??

I did not have any problems with connect. The only correction or addition to the adapter i would make, is to extend it to 10 inches long.
