If you are using a mac for meeting presentations then this is a must-have accessory. There are still quite a few old-school projectors that require VGA connection. I wish this adapter was $20 or less. Dinged overall rating on price.

The Apple Mini Display Port to VGA Adapter is great. It allows me to continue using my Desktop monitor along with MAC monitor.

Needing a larger screen this little gadget made it easy to attach my external monitor to my MacBook pro.

Not much to say, if you need to connect to a VGA monitor this if the only option.

Any Mac user should have this for their computer.. A must for presentations!

There is no "magic" with this adapter. It simply plugs in to the mini-display port and "voila", there is your VGA connection. I don't know why Apple has made this $10 more than then older style display adapter. Having this on sale at Best Buy made it more palatable.

When I decided to buy a Mac Mini I had no idea if my current monitor connection would work so the customer service guy suggested this add on. I am so glad that I listened to him (I could return it if I didn't need it) because I would have had to return to the store to buy it. It was exactly what I needed to get my system up and running in less than 15 minutes.

This dongle is the only way to hook a macbook up to a via display.

I use this to connect my laptop to projectors when doing presentations. Does the job.

It's unfortunate that Apple requires a separate adapter to connect an external monitor. Lightroom on a 13" MBP is not a good thing. Photoshop isn't much better. This allows me to connect my large monitor and set the notebook aside.

Overall a very solid adapter. I use it on my Mac Mini with the Mini Display port. It produces an amazing picture on my 26" Insignia LCD TV w/VGA port.

works as expected. no problems. makes connecting an old monitor easy to do.
