Great replacement remote control, and very easy to pair with my Apple TV

Does what it should. Apple just makes good products. Multi-use & easy.

This is a great little remote but it's so small it can be easy to lose. This was a replacement for the one my wife stepped on after I knocked it off the couch accidentally. I do like the light, all aluminum construction versus the cheap plastic models.

Since the first time I used it, I have been watching movies on my desktop computer from my bed! Is awesome to control the volume and skip scenes.

Simple, slick looking design expected from Apple. Easy to use remote. However, the small form / buttons can create a bumbling experience for those with bigger hands. The slim form also tends to make it easy to fall into seat cushions or be carried off by toddlers to unknown places around the house. Replacement remotes are cheap enough priced though.

This is an excellent product. I do not like how ' has stopped including it with new computer purchases, but it is an excellent device. The design is very sleek and simple, with a pleasant contour to your hand. It feels very well built and durable. Not only does it work with Front Row which essentially is an AppleTV style menu that browses through all of your iTunes media, photographs, and allow you to watch current movie trailers. However, it works with other programs as well. I got this in conjunction with an HDMI cable to hook up my MBP to my TV. Moreover, I can put on a movie in VLC (media player), and the remote can play/pause, fast-forward, rewind, adjust volume, and switch in and out of full-screen mode. Can't say anything bad about this product. It is a very handy product, the price is reasonable (although it SHOULD be included with a Mac!), and it does even more than I expected.

Personally, I prefer to use other devices to control my Apple TV (such as a tablet or a phone through their app), but there is a level of convenience associated with the remote which makes it useful. Furthermore, setting your AppleTV up to a new wireless network without it becomes significantly more complicated, though presumably if you are opening the box for the first time, the remote is already included. So that being said, the product works exactly as advertised. It is simple to use and works quickly. My biggest "complaints" (though not really) are that its lightweight and small size make it really easy to lose (probably one of the reasons why you may be looking to buy another one). Furthermore, the range on the remote doesn't seem to exceed 15' unless you are pointed right at the hub, and any blockage in the middle will mute the signal acquisition. Personally, the reason why I've had to replace my remote is because it somehow magically became a chew toy for my dog - a very delicious and crunchy chew toy at that, apparently. In a nutshell, the remote works exactly as advertised. Despite my minor qualms, it's still a 5-star product. My only recommendation to Apple is to make their products less deliciously enticing to furry things.

This is what you would expect from an Apple product. Easy to use, easy to setup if replacing the original. If I were to suggest one improvement, it would be to have the menu button take you straight back to the menu instead of having to push it several times. Besides that, it works great. Unfortunately with it being so small it is easy to lose and once it's lost, you can't turn on the apple TV.

I bought this to replace another that I lost. Very easy to pair to my existing apple TV. I love the simplicity of this remote, however it does tend to fall between the cushions of the couch very easily.

Those Apple TV remotes are so small, it is probably a miracle we didn't lose it sooner. This one is brand name and worked straight out of the package. Much cheaper in store than listed online. I guess they were price matching Amazon. Perfect!

Had to buy a new one because the first one was eaten by the couch (or the toddler put it somewhere useful). Setup was super easy and it works like a charm. It's super light weight, so even a small velcro tab can hold it out of reach from a toddler.

Like all Apple products, the look is great and it's easy to use. However, it's tiny size makes it easy to lose (slips in the cushions every time and you practically have to take the sofa apart to get to it), and the buttons stop working after not that long (if you use it to browse a lot through the channels).

We lost our first Apple remote in the couch never to be seen again. Luckily, best buy had a replacement. Works the same way as the original and I didn't need to program it or buy batteries or anything. Perfect.

This is identical to the remote included with the Apple TV 3rd Gen. Very durable construction and excellent battery life. My only complaint is that the remote is too thin, it falls between the sofa cushions and is difficult to find.

Thank you Apple and Best Buy. Once more you provide a device that is easy to set up. Remote is reasonably priced and hooked up to my existing Apple TV instantly.

My previous remote stopped working, this works wonderfully. Wish there was a way to repair them when they stop working. But it synced right up with our AppleTv.

We have 5 Apple TVs in our house. And tend to misplace these tiny suckers. I wish they were a tad bigger and less easy to lose. We've only ever had 1-2 break out of 10 and replaced one battery in 4 years.

I love this remote it's so sleek and simple to use fits in my pocket so I carry it around the house to the different Apple TV as well

Let me start by explaining that I also own an older version of the Google TV which has a very intricate remote. It has a Keyboard, and two thumb style control knobs for many functions.. Though the Apple TV is not a Google TV. It is sometime too simple in that I forget you really don't have to go into detail of what you want to do when using your Apple TV. This, in fact, makes it very simple to use, almost to easy to use. Nice when your in Bed, cuddling your wife with one arm holding her and the other arm has got the apple TV Remote... I can still scroll through my stations and watch what I want without disturbing her comfort. Mega Plus..
