This adapter adds HDMI and USB. I like that it's easier to plug things into the adapter than to search for the port on the back of the screen.

This is such a useful attachment especially if you use USB and HDMI frequently! It doesn’t heat up like on some of the previous models from previous MacBooks.

Allows me to connect an external display to my MacBook. Would have been nice if it was included, but thats Apple for ya. Setup was simple

First do not buy third party type c adapters. They do not work Yes it is probably an Apple thing but the Apple ones work when others don’t

love the MacBook, but having only USB-C ports is limiting. if you want to connect anything to your laptop, you need this.

BUT ....... Apple thinks that it's a good idea to sell us the common USB Port and add an HDMI Port for do not enrage his buyers for not included it in his last Macbook....Nice Apple...But anyway its a good adapter..

Ended up not being able to utilize this to extend screens. Too bad I didn’t know that before spending the money

This unit works great. Only problem w the new Mac is the amount of dongles you have to buy to plug in USB, DVD, flash, lightning, hdmi, etc. still worth it though

I returned a third party dock because of an issue with a shoddy HDMI connection. This product doesn't have that problem and works very well, at the cost of extra ports.

The item works great and definitely as advertized. It’s overpriced for what it does but it’s an Apple product. Seem less integration with my MacBook Pro 2016.

I went into the store looking for a hub but this was exactly what I wanted, with the option of USB 2.0, USB C, and HDMI hookup from my Macbook Pro. Just a nice dongle for the basic hub type interface

My one beef with Apple is they make everything only usable with their own equipment. This is needed if you want to use any other device with your laptop

With the only I/O port being the new style USB, good idea to invest in this. Small, lightweight and easy to pack in your computer bag. Goes everywhere the MacBook does.

This is a great little item. I am able to plug my MacBook into HDMI, USB at the same time, to show it content on a TV, or larger monitor. It is a must....

if you bought the new Apple Mac Book Pro...you need this accessory. Apply is forcing its users to get away from the UBS and HDMI direct connect option and in order to use any of the 'older' tech you need this adapter

This adapter is great and easy to use. I'm not exactly tech savvy and, once I got the correct HDMI cord, it was extremely easy to use! I couldn't be happier!

I so needed this. I didn't know I did, but I did. Connects the iPhone of course. But also outputs the Mac to the tv. I wish it cost less, but it IS worthwhile to have.

Bought this AV adapter to use with my Lenovo Yoga 910. I wasn't sure if it would work since it is designed for apple devices. But so far it is getting the job done.

I purchased this item with the thought that I could connect it to my iPod or iPhone, play videos on my tv while charging my devices. It's an adapter for a Mac computer. So, as I said before, it's good if you own a Mac.
