All the holes around the laptop had a complete remodel which is a curse but it's also classy. If you're a gamer and like to plug your computer into multiple things I suggest 2!

It allowed me to plug in thumb drives, a CD burner and a scanner. I just wish Apple had included both USB A and C ports.

I also connect this to my laptop adaptor along with my phone cable and it charges it much faster.

Necessary Addition to MacBook Pro

The external devices I used on my windows are all standard USB ports and this connector allows me to selectively choose which of my existing devices I can use. Frankly the length of the cable could be improved but otherwise performs as expected.
