Excellent camera, easy to use and easy to install.

Love our cameras. They have a really good picture. They die kinda fast but we have 3 so usually charge one at a time .

Unless you want to climb a ladder every three days to them plug your camera in to charge for hours and hours then this is the camera for you! this is my second camera because the first one wouldn’t even charge anymore after we had a rain storm which these cameras specifically are meant for outdoors. the new one the battery has only held a charge for three days when advertise hold battery life for at least two months even at max usage. I’ve contacted Arlo and they inform me it’s because of my power adapter that I’m using which is a 5V. 3A not a 5v 2a. I was told my 3A was a fast charger, which it is not and so therefore that is affecting the battery life. Which makes no sense because I use the exact same power adapter to charge my Arlo essential first generation spotlight outdoor camera and it is still maintaining its battery life atxa normal rate. like I said, I’ll probably return this camera. As far as the video quality it’s nice. I can’t complain.

I have 4 different series of Arlo and they all charge differently, I don't like that. These cameras are pretty good but just not as good as some of the more expensive series, but they'll do the job.

I am happy with the way the cameras work. They are Great cameras and work great. The only problem is that you cant use them without paying for a subscription.

Cameras work great. Installation and setup was very easy. Could not be more pleased.

1. Discharges to fast. Frequent recharging required. 2. Almost impossible to connect to Arlo hub which I already have with other Arlo cameras.

Great system, easy to use and easy setup. Only downfall is the battery dies quickly if the sensitivity is up at all

They are okay. But having to charge them all the time may become tedious. If you set the up to record all the time they run the battery down. But if you set them up to record only when there is motion then the battery last longer. Kind of a catch 22 if you know what I mean.

What a surprising quality and easy installing equipment. This set of cameras was so easy and straight forward to install that I not even thought about the hard time I had with the previous version. Excellent image quality!

Good cameras but they must be charged… I would rather them be wired or longer battery life.

Bought these cameras to put around my home. They work great outside and have really good quality on the video it records and saves automatically.

The cameras are great. The reason for 4 stars is due to battery drainage quickly.

The cameras great but 2 months in and one already is not functioning correctly. It won’t turn on despiste being charged

First off the night vision on these cameras are awful. You literally need the flood light on the cam itself just to be able to see 2 meters out. I also have several outdoor ring stick up cameras on my property and compared to the Arlo essential the ring stick up cam beats it by a mile. On the Arlo when you click to access the cameras it has at least a 5-7 second lag and thats with excellent wifi signal. Compare that to the Ring stick up cam which is only 1-2 second lag when looking at live video. Also batteries dont last long on a full charge. Before setting them up outdoors i charged them all to 100 %. After 5 days one is already down to 30% charge and another is down to 10%. It’ll depend on how much those cameras activate when sensing alot of motion. Now compare that to my ring cameras that last 3 months on a full charge. I bought these only sale for $199 and i actually feel like i got ripped off even at that price.

Great product I wish it was how it use to be the subscription service is the only sad thing for me

Wished the view was a little wider but works well, easy to install and value priced.

Easy installation and great picture quality. The app is also easy to navigate.
