Stick to the Nest Cams!

Problems: Battery life only lasted me about 1 week and this was setup in a low traffic area with the settings at about a medium The magnetic mount did not make me comfortable hanging this thing upside down at all! To me, the Arlo app just seemed clunky and hard to navigate. Trying to change camera settings would always take forever due to the app and camera not syncing well even when right next to each other. Ended up returning and picking up another Nest camera.

It would have to be the image quality, dont get me wrong it looks good but for the price range, when in had fhe regular 1080p model. I didnt feel that there was a night and day difference.

Works perfectly with the solar panel I purchased so that it will never need to be taken down to charge. Plan to replace my old Arlo Pros with these - just wish it wouldn't require a subscription plan.

The cameras connect to the base station. They send me notification when they detect motion but they do not send the video to my library. worked fine with trial subscription. wanted cameras to work with my base not pay extra for subscription
