I bought this as an open box so got a good discount on it. So far, it works well. I am a little bummed that communication from non Apple computer is not perfect with my iPhone 5, but the price was right for a quality computer

Blazing fast computer with all the bells and whist

Blazing fast computer with all the bells and whistles. I bought this computer for my daughter’s 13th birthday. She works very hard at school and easier ahead of her classes. I wanted to get her a computer that had certain specs which is 8 GB of RAM and 1 TB hard drive. I did not want to go with an SSD hard drive because she likes to game. And I feel she should be able to because she works so hard at school. I originally bought This computer open box and lo and behold it had a Japanese language program installed on it. The battery drain in two hours and basically it was a lemon. They replaced it with a new computer and let me tell you that my daughter is in there with it. It is blazing fast and does pretty much everything and anything you would want to do. She can game on this computer no problem and do her power points in seconds. It also has windows Inc. and a backlit keyboard. Both wonderful features. This means I won’t need upgrade as quickly. Before this she had a stream book or a chrome book. She needed something with memory/power/speed. This has an I five processor. Which really makes it hard to mess it up. It is the perfect computer for a 13-year-old. It’s a perfect computer for anybody. It has a touch screen and hi def resolution that really makes the picture pop right out. I looked other computers both in the $400 range and computers in the thousand dollar range. I was not going to buy a computer in the thousand dollar range. But this matches all of them. You’re really couldn’t ask for much more. It has everything you need. She can draw or write out her notes by hand with her windows ink pen and transfer them to type and then put them in a file and put them away. It was the perfect present for a hard-working 13-year-old girl.

The main purpose for purchasing this computer was for college. I have owned this computer for 3 weeks. I feel I got a great deal with the sale price plus the student deal offered. Pro's = * Fast * Lightweight * Great size for mobility * Plenty of storage * Price * great picture/screen dynamics * touch screen * tablet option * great port options Con's = * color (I would prefer just about anything other than silver) But can't find anything else I don't like about it. Great package of features.

I have only had it a few weeks and so far I am happy with it. I first saw this laptop online with a clearance price and went to the store to see it. They did not have it out on the floor. I took a chance and bought it since I thought Best Buy had a good clearance price. I downsized from an older 17" which was an i7. This one is i5 and find it is just about as fast. The sound is decent. This laptop is much lighter then my old 17" and chose it since want to use it as a tablet too. I am still learning Windows 10 and I need to find a new email server I like since the Outlook version I was using is not compatible with Windows 10. But overall I am pleased with it.

Biggest surprise coming from a 17" Lenovo was the duration of battery life on this small 13" Core i5 machine. Quite fast and the display is awesome. Synchs quickly with external projectors which were always a problem with my previous machine. Very light and as consequence no barrier to my taking it everyone a computer is needed.

After carrying my gaming laptop to school all the time i was worried about dropping it and being out 3k along with only 3 hour max battery i needed something better. After alot of research and i like Asus this was a great buy. Battery lasts 6 to 10 hours, screen has good picture, light, and ok for speed. Nothing like a full blown laptop or desktop but it over half the cost. Hard drive size is great and there enough ram to be doing multiple operations at once. Highly recommended for a student or someone on the go that doesnt need the super computer for intense gaming or programs that need dedicated graphices. The only downside it the touch mouse it touchy and doesnt respond the greatest at times. But the back lite keyboard is a must have when doing homework at night when kids are in bed.

Purchased this laptop for my graduate studies. It performs everything I need very efficiently! I love the touch screen. I attend classes online and the memory keeps up just fine with the streaming video. The only thing I do not like is the power button is on the side of the laptop. I frequently accidently hit this button when moving the laptop around or accidentally hitting the power instead of the volume adjust button. Other than this design issue, the laptop has proven itself worthy!

This was a relatively inexpensive choice for a computer, especially a 2-in-1. I had a bit of trouble installing Office 365, and the process was very slow (not sure if that was the computer, Microsoft or the internet service). However, the computer is working well, and suits my needs perfectly: internet searches, college papers, etc.

This laptop is very good on battery life and versatility. It easily switches between laptop and tablet and works smoothly in either mode. This is ideal if you are not looking for a colossal screen laptop. It is very portable and feels more like a book than a laptop in terms of weight and size. It feels easy to take anywhere and the battery life is great even when not on any battery saving power plan. It has a back-lit keyboard which is adjustable in brightness. Although it is not the lightest laptop it is not too heavy to take around. The construction feels study. The fingerprint scanner is a another good feature. The trackpad is - Meh. Sometimes it tracks well and other times is doesn't. I think it is because they have placed the fingerprint scanner in the trackpad which messes it up. I have to turn up the sensitivity of the pad to get it to work at a comfortable level for me. I prefer to use a physical mouse anyway so it is more an annoyance than a deal breaker. Location of the power and volume buttons are also annoying. The power button is too easily pressed when picking up or moving the laptop because it is to the left middle side of the laptop. Still not a deal breaker but definitely annoying but we can learn to work around it. Fortunately, when you do press it is just locks your screen like it would a phone so you don't lose any data but still annoying. Speakers sound good but could stand to go a bit louder. Overall, I good computer for the price. I would rate 4.5 stars but I went with 5 rather than 4 because for all the features this little device has for this price, it is definitely good value for money. My last mid-range ASUS lasted 8 years so I am waiting to see how this one works out. So far everything looks good.

Works well, rea lively easy to use. Yet, the programmers were a bit too cute with the setup. Upon, switching on the computer, it takes a while to boot up. Then Ithere is a greeting on my screen. HI (insert name here). When I hit enter again it shows me a picture and asks if I like it. Annoying, just let me get to my user icons. I don't want fake social greetings from a machine. It wastes my time.

I bought this computer because it isn’t as cumbersome as some of the bigger ones. It still has a good size screen but it is so much lighter and the screen can flip. Love it!

The laptop is a nice design. It is priced better than others similar to it. Pros: Fast, reliable, nice screen, touch screen, keys are fluid, easy setup. Cons: mouse pad is a little sensitive, touch screen sometimes lacks accuracy, flipping to and from tablet and PC mode can sometimes cause a bug such as no mouse or touch screen ability.
