I bought the Blue Cave router mainly because of the Trend Micro added security features and the ability to do pretty much anything else with this router. It’s not got the best range but it’s perfect for a small to medium size apartment like I have.

I purchased this to replace my R7000 router which I liked but to many firmware bugs. This one was a breeze to set up and has a great web based user interface page to view all the settings. It has many user changeable features that I like a lot. Wireless speeds are spot on with my wired computers, using cable modem running at 170mbs. Love the small foot print of the router and the "cave" blue light is appealing. Working flawless so far and I have owned it for a few months. Oh did I mention I got it on sale here for $89, should have bought two.

This is a very full-featured router. The VPN support is great. But I can tell it really struggles to keep up when enabled. Otherwise, a great little router with a neat design.

The router performs really well. I had issues with my previous router (Spectrum) w.r.t. an IP camera and streaming quality. It was a hit or miss (tried many channels) and the camera was offline most of the time. With Blue Cave connection is instant with auto channel selected, and the picture quality of the streaming videos are excellent. Additionally, there are no call drops during wifi video calls. The nice non-traditional look of the router with the blue ring light makes Blue Cave an attractive gadget on display in your room.

This is the really a cool looking router. Performance is good, but not outstanding. I am actually getting slower speeds than my netgear router that I replaced, and this is after upgrading to a 250 meg plan. Very average speeds are disappointing.

This router has great bandwidth and if you can catch it on sale its a steal. Set up was easy and had it running in no time.

My ASUS Blue Cave is sitting out on a shelf and it looks great, not like a piece of technology. The WiFi covers my 2000 sq ft easily.

speed and reliability nowhere near where it should be for this price. Save your money and buy something cheaper if this is the speed you want. It also has the habit of dropping connections.

It worked very well - had to replace it post a lightening strike at the house - never would have replaced it otherwise

Outstanding router...speeds are faster than most tri-bands for a lot more $$$. Easily configured with lots of security features.

This router looks stylish and helps with home decor. Looks apart, Strong Wifi signal and security features are added bonus.

Set up was easy right out of the box, the design is sleek looking as well. Only complaint is the light isn't rgb.

Replaced an older Asus wireless n that need d to be rebooted regularly. New router looks great and works very well.

Extremely easy setup with option for web based configuration or through the app. Don’t let the lack of external antennas scare you away, it covers our 2200 square foot home with consistency. Parental controls and quality of services settings are great for monitoring connected devices and routing bandwidth where it’s needed. I’m not sure why but the 5G band on my Blue Cave performs unusually well and, with a few exceptions, signal coverage is consistent throughout the house.

Very happy with our purchase. Easy set up with easy to follow instructions and works just as expected. Looks cool too!

Asus's experiment with weird designs aside, this is a solid router. Wish the AiMesh worked a little more smoothly.

It works great and looks cool too. Since the middle of the router is an open hole you can hang it on a hook.

Easy setup and install. The app is very useful with keeping track of the devices connected to it.

The router helps support our poor wireless system we haven't had to reset since we bought it.
