    It does what it is supposed to do, but it's very lightweight and needs to be secured to something, otherwise you'll have to hold onto it to insert and eject a disc.

    This is a plug and play drive, and I've been pleased with with it's ease of use and quality. It's not often that you need one of these, but this is a good option if you need one.

    It works fine, powered by single USB port on a newer laptop. It comes with a breakout cable for external power too, but runs fine for me without it.

    When I bought my new computer, I didn't think that not having a CD drive would be an issue in this day of digital downloads. I was wrong. Thankfully, this was an easy, relatively inexpensive solution that does exactly what I need -- allow me to view and use CDs on my new computer. Just be sure that you do have TWO ports available...

    Needed an external dvd drive since laptop didnt have a drive. Feels fragile and requires two usb ports to properly power up. The usb cable that came with it is very short. If using for a computer, it wont reach the back usb ports and can only reach the front usb ports if you have them.
