This ASUS Chromebook has an illuminated chiclet keyboard for increased visibility in darker environments.

Undoubtedly, it is a greatly priced Chromebook for basic or light computing needs, and with an illuminated chiclet keyboard. I do understand your disappointment with the quality of the internal speakers. The audio quality is decent from the tiny speakers. So I decided to check it out since it was not cheap. I use a lot for quick things I need to access instead of using the computer.

He is a senior in high school and did not need all the windows or mac stuff. With all of the google apps and others apps you can download he was set. My wife ended up getting one too.

We have always had Windows OS, so there is a learning curve with the Chrome OS, but overall my husband is very happy with this laptop. It's fast and he's learning to use it quickly.
