Awesome laptop for bulky graphic design on the go.

I bought this laptop to use for on-the-go graphic design. It is quiet and a total powerhouse. After weeks of searching through reviews, I ended up with this Asus ProArt StudioBook. I have had absolutely NO software issues, crashes, or quality concerns. This is a first for me when buying a laptop, and it came with much relief. Runs all Adobe Creative Suite the best of any computer I've used. However, I will admit this is my first jump from lower-end tech to a more professional grade laptop. My only note for others is the weight - it's a bit bulkier than I expected, but this does not detract from the great quality of this machine. It makes it a little awkward to carry around, so it might not be ideal for people with long commutes/walks. I highly recommend this product to anyone pulling marketing schemes out of their head in the middle of a coffee shop or local bakery, or to any professionals without a permanent desk.

This was a gift to my son who entered law school this fall. My son is also an aspiring Executive Producer..so he loves to make short videos. The Asus ProArt StudioBook is able to handle the CPU-intensive Adobe products with ease. I would recommend this laptop to anyone.

Great Laptop for the budget, but don't expect a Webcam, SD card Reader (so unless you use an adapter, you cannot import your media) Don't plan on having an amazing sound system, the thing sounds very low with TINTY sound. I was actually shocked that it did not have a media card reader, or a webcam and the sound set up sounds like it's from the cheapest tablet. Not great for VFX sounds. BUT, I will say the computer was fast... even on the reboot. But if you are looking for the same thing as me, this isn't your laptop.

    Beautiful laptop, but gets hot

I bought, but returned. It gets really hot--it warped the plastic desk protector I put it on. It's a beautiful display and the keyboard is good. I would have liked a number keypad; not sure why there isn't one, because there's plenty of room.

      Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you so much for your honest feedback, I'm sorry to hear that the unit gets really hot. Please refer to these key points.

Use your laptop where the ambient temperature is between 5°C to 35°C (41°F to 95°F).

Use your laptop on a hard, flat surface (like a table or desk) rather than a soft surface (like a couch, pillow, bed, or your lap).

Provide a distance of clearance around each vent.

Avoid using the laptop near any heat radiating devices.

The CPU / GPU temperature rises when running intensive programs, such as heavy-loading games, video editing, transcoding, and big data operating. I bought this laptop for the 4K screen, 32gb of RAM, & fast processor. I wanted it for doing my blu-ray rips and conversion before moving to a NAS. Everything was perfect until came time to move to my NAS. Unfortunately I could not figure out how to get my NAS’ to show up in the network section of the PC. Therefore I couldn’t move the movie files which made this a no go and had to return it. Which sucks because I loved the speed of the processing.

Picked this up as a dedicated photo editing machine. So far I'm happy with it's speed in processing large RAW files.

Our son just opened this laptop and started to load all our programs on it. So far we have seen it is Super Fast in booting up and opening all Microsoft 365 programs! Also the Bluetooth feature is very cool! Will follow up as we learn more! :-)

This computer does not have all the bells and whistles. No lighted keypad for one. Yet, its still a great machine.
